As the sun sets on another academic year, we pause to look back not just at the events we held, but at the heart, courage, and dedication that powered each step of the journey.

It all began with the 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, our very first major event as newly elected IARS Local Student Council Officers. This was our moment to welcome fresh faces into the Institute of Agriculture and Related Sciences. With enthusiasm and pride, we introduced them to our departments, shared opportunities that awaited them, and guided them through the IARS culture, rules, and values. From that moment, we knew, we were building something bigger than ourselves.

Soon after came the 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲, where we united students from all departments 𝑨𝒈𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆, 𝑨𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒚, 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝑭𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚, and 𝑽𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚. Here, we took the floor to educate everyone on the Constitution and By-Laws (CBL), ensuring that our governance was transparent, inclusive, and student-centered. This wasn’t just an assembly it was a declaration of our responsibility to serve.

Then came 𝐁𝐮𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐚, held in August. A celebration of language and culture, this event became a showcase of Filipino pride. Through spoken word, traditional dances, and poetry, our students shone encouraged and supported every step of the way by the IARS Officers who participated in practices, guided participants, and celebrated every win as a family.

The rhythm of the year flowed into the 𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡, where we highlighted unity in diversity.

In 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬’ 𝐃𝐚𝐲, our hearts were full. With carefully crafted surprise foods that touched hearts, the IARS Officers poured gratitude to the very instructors before them and gave every word of thanks. This day wasn’t just a celebration it was a reminder of the mentors who shaped us.

𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, our unity became our strength. The IARS Officers prepared for pageant showcasing global cultures, sustainability goals, and advocacy for peace proving that even in diversity, we stand together.

Then came a highlight: the 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲, where laughter echoed and barriers melted. This was more than just a party it was the moment when students across year levels and departments truly connected. Themed outfits, energetic games, and a dance floor full of life made the night unforgettable and it was all made possible through the coordination and care of the IARS Officers.

Our school spirit soared during 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐬, where the IARS Officers doubled as cheerleaders, logistics heads, and emotional support systems. Whether drenched in sweat or raising banners in the stands, we brought the spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship to life, through all this IARS secured the 1st overall runner up.

As the festive season neared, 𝐃𝐒𝐒𝐂 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐧 sa IARS filled the air with warmth. Lights, laughter, and the magic of community painted the December skies. From decorating corners such as the IARS Booth to competitions, the IARS Officers made sure no student felt alone during the holidays.

When 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐞𝐛-𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐠 arrived, we honored our roots. Through exhibit booth, and programs, we commemorated the legacy of IARS. It was a celebration not just of how far we’ve come, but of the people who walked before us and the talents that the students posses.

April came with a call to innovation during 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡, where the IARS Officers led the IARS students to spark discussions on innovation, research ethics, and the value of original ideas. Through exhibits and student-led presentations, we empowered thinkers and dreamers alike.

And finally, our crowning achievement: the 𝐄𝐧𝐝-𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 “𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑨𝒈𝒓𝒊-𝑻𝒐𝒐𝒍𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒍𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝑺𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝑫𝑺𝑺𝑪 𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑬𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝑲𝒂𝒑𝒐𝒄 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒐 𝑬𝒙𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒖𝒔.” Through the guidance of our beloved Dean and Adviser, 𝑫𝒓. 𝑱𝒖𝒂𝒏 𝑷. 𝑨𝒈𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒂 𝐉𝐫, we raised resources and delivered over 30 essential tools and materials that will forever impact future training in agriculture. It was a project rooted in service, sprouting with hope, and growing towards a better tomorrow.

From 𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲, the IARS Officers of A.Y. 2024–2025 have carried the torch with passion, grace, and unwavering commitment. This year was not just a term, it was a story, and one we’ll proudly carry in our hearts.

To every student, faculty, and partner who walked with us, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮. This is not goodbye. This is a seed planted.

All these contributions were made with a single goal in mind: to empower the Technical Training Center in our 𝐊𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐜, 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 with the necessary tools to nurture agricultural skills and practical learning for years to come.
Of course, none of this would have been possible without the unwavering support, guidance, and belief of our ever-dedicated Dean and Adviser, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐮𝐚𝐧 𝐏. 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚. From day one, Dr. Agudera championed our cause providing wisdom, encouragement, and the leadership that lit the path toward this project’s completion. 📌Fourth year students are allowed to wear their OJT uniform.

Our very own Justine Omboy from Food Technology Department along with John Carlo Dablo from Development Communication Department showcased their wit, beauty, and passion in the conducted Mr&Miss Davao del Sur State College last Febuary 20, 2025. Both showed a whirlwind of excitement, and excellent performance that was a testament to the strength and spirit they showed among all who competed. House Stark entered the fray, our queen and knight shining brightly. ✨⚔️

We celebrate not just a victory, but the journey, the growth, and the unwavering dedication of both our incredible representatives. Thank you for embodying the true meaning of House Stark. Your courage and grace have warmed our hearts, even in the face of winter. We are eternally grateful for your commitment and your representation of our house. You both made us proud! 🙌
