DepEd Region XI proudly participated in the National Science and Technology Fair (NSTF) 2026, showcasing the passion, dedication, and research excellence of our young scientists.

While much effort and preparation were invested in this endeavor, we remain most grateful for the invaluable experience gained by our student researchers. Beyond recognition and awards, the opportunity to present, engage, and grow in the field of research is already a meaningful achievement in itself.

🏅 Awards received by Region XI:
• Best Presenter – Life Science (Individual Category)
Our young researcher, Gared, earned the distinction of Best Presenter, even though the project was not among the Top 3 Best Projects in the category.

Competitions of this caliber are always challenging and difficult to predict. Nevertheless, the commitment and resilience demonstrated by our delegates remain a source of pride for the entire region.

As we always say, until next year, NSTF! We remain hopeful that the 10-year drought will soon give way to another opportunity for Region XI to represent the Philippines on the international stage—this time with a proud Dabawenyo flag bearer.
