𝙆𝙖𝙮𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙥 𝙣𝙖 𝙥𝙖𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙢, '𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙩' 𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙣𝙖𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙮.

Ang awiting "Agyamankami, Gov. Dax” ay munting pagpupugay mula sa puso ng mga kailyan—isang awit para alalahanin ang mga taon ng paglilingkod, ang mga pangarap na naitaguyod, at ang pagmamahal sa lalawigang tinawag nating tahanan.

Sa bawat himig ay may lungkot.
Sa bawat salita ay may alaala.
Ngunit higit sa lahat, sa bawat “Agyamankami” ay naroon ang taos-pusong pasasalamat ng isang bayang nagluluksa at nagpupugay.

The Local Government Unit of Diffun expresses its deepest and most heartfelt condolences on the passing of our esteemed 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐒𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐬 𝐁. 𝐏𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚 𝐉𝐫. (September 16, 2026), who dedicated his service and unwavering commitment to public welfare has left an enduring mark on our municipality.

We honor his life of public service marked by integrity, compassion, and genuine concern for the people. His contributions to governance and local development will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude. During this time of mourning, we join his family, friends, colleagues, and constituents in prayer and solidarity, and we extend our sincerest sympathies to all who grieve in this profound loss.

𝙉𝙀𝙒𝙎 | 𝘿𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙪𝙣 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙩 𝙄 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙨 𝙄𝙉𝙎𝙀𝙏 𝘿𝙖𝙮 1 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙛𝙤𝙘𝙪𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣

Diffun District I successfully conducted the first day of its District In-Service Training (INSET) today, bringing together educators in a shared pursuit of stronger teaching practices and more responsive learning experiences for every learner.

Anchored on the theme “Empowering Educators, Strengthening Schools: A District INSET for Quality and Responsive Education,” the two-day professional development activity provides teachers and school leaders with opportunities to deepen their knowledge, strengthen professional competencies, and translate new learning into improved classroom and school practices.

Day 1 featured timely and relevant topics responsive to the emerging needs and realities of education. Through meaningful discussions, sharing of experiences, and professional collaboration, participants reflected on current practices and explored practical strategies that can further enhance the delivery of quality education across the district.

The activity reflects Diffun District I’s continuing commitment to investing in its most important educational resource—its teachers. By strengthening educators’ knowledge, skills, and capacity to respond to learners’ diverse needs, the district likewise strengthens the schools and communities they serve.

Under the leadership of Public Schools District Supervisor Sebastian S. Ignacio, Diffun District I continues to foster a culture of professional learning, collaboration, innovation, and shared responsibility for improving learner outcomes.

As Day 1 concluded, participants carried with them not only new knowledge and strategies but also a renewed commitment to bring meaningful learning back to their respective schools and classrooms.

The District INSET continues tomorrow, September 11, 2026, for another day of learning, collaboration, and professional growth.

𝘿𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙪𝙣 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙩 𝙄 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙨 2𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙪𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙧-𝙪𝙥 𝙞𝙣 𝘿𝙎𝙋𝘾 2026

DIFFUN, Quirino — Diffun District I emerged as 2nd Runner-Up among the Top Performing Districts in the recently concluded Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2026, held from September 2 to 4 in Diffun, Quirino.

The district secured its podium finish after its campus journalists bagged several awards in both individual events and group contests, contributing to its overall standing in the division-wide journalism competition.

The achievement highlighted the performance of the district’s young journalists across various fields of campus journalism and reflected the collective efforts of the learners, school paper advisers, coaches, school heads, and other education leaders who supported their preparation for the competition.

The DSPC brought together elementary and secondary campus journalists from across the Schools Division of Quirino to demonstrate their skills in journalistic writing, broadcasting, publication, and other campus journalism events.

With its 2nd Runner-Up finish, Diffun District I capped the three-day competition with a place on the DSPC 2026 podium and another milestone for its continuing campus journalism program.

Congratulations to all our campus journalists, coaches, school paper advisers, school heads, and the entire Diffun District I delegation!

The Municipality of Diffun, DepEd Diffun District 1 and 2, proudly hosts the Schools Division of Quirino's Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2026! This three-day event runs from September 2-4, 2026 at the Delfin Vaquilar Gymnasium, Aurora East, Diffun, Quirino.

This year's theme is "Empowering Filipino Youth: Unleashing Potential in Journalism and Creative Industries in the Era of Artificial Intelligence (AI)." Young campus journalists from all districts across the division will compete and showcase their skills.
