𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿-𝗣𝗲𝗮𝘁: 𝗟𝗦𝗣𝗨 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗜𝗣𝗢𝗣𝗛𝗟 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗺, 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀

For the fourth consecutive time, Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) has secured top recognition from the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines, March 25.

Through its Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO), LSPU was named a 2025 Platinum Cluster Awardee, one of the highest distinctions conferred on institutions that demonstrate sustained excellence in intellectual property generation and commercialization. The university also garnered a Special Citation for Trademark, underscoring its strength in protecting and leveraging creative and research outputs.

Representing the university, Vice President for Research Development and Extension Prof. Robert C. Agatep and ITSO Manager Dr. Victoria Tamban received the honors on behalf of University President Mario R. Briones during the ITSO Presidents’ Summit and General Assembly held at the Diversion 21 Hotel, Iloilo City.
