Teenage pregnancy is becoming a growing issue in our community, especially in Brgy. San Jose, Del Carmen (Pob), affecting many young girls and their future. Every year, more teenagers face the challenges of early motherhood, often unprepared for the emotional, financial, and social responsibilities it brings.
Teenage pregnancy affects young lives in many ways. It often disrupts education, forcing many teenage mothers to drop out of school, limiting their opportunities for a brighter future. Health risks are also a major concern, as young mothers face higher chances of complications during pregnancy and childbirth due to their bodies not being fully developed for motherhood. Financial struggles add to the burden, as many teenage mothers lack stable income sources, making it difficult to support a child. Emotionally, the pressures of early parenthood can lead to anxiety, depression, and social stigma, further isolating young mothers from their peers and opportunities.
It's time to take action! Let’s educate, support, and empower our youth to make informed choices. A bright future begins with smart decisions. 🌟
