Nurse B**g Villanueva Bueser conducted vision screening among all kindergarten pupils of Del Carmen Elementary School to identify possible vision problems early and ensure that learners are given appropriate attention and referral when needed. He also monitored the implementation of OK sa DepEd, in line with DepEd Order No. 28, s. 2018, which promotes comprehensive school health programs and services. These activities are vital in protecting learners’ health and supporting their readiness to learn. ENSURING TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY IN SCHOOL OPERATIONS 📋✅

Del Carmen Elementary School welcomed the Supply Office, headed by Administrative Officer IV Luisito B. De La Torre Jr., together with representatives from the Commission on Audit (COA), for the inspection and monitoring of the disposal process of scrap materials from the demolished school building.

The activity aims to ensure that the disposal of government properties and materials is carried out properly, transparently, and in accordance with existing rules and regulations.

We thank the Supply Office and COA for their guidance, oversight, and commitment to promoting accountability and responsible stewardship of public resources.

Del Carmen Elementary School warmly welcomed Nurse Benigno Bueser Jr. during his recent school visitation for the vision screening of our Kindergarten learners and monitoring of the OKD (Operation Kalusugan sa DepEd).

The Municipal Engineering Office, headed by Engr. Paolo Iñigo Tan conducted an on-site assessment of the electrical wiring requirements of Del Carmen Elementary School for the proposed rewiring. The activity focused on determining the appropriate wire requirements and identifying electrical lines that need replacement to address potential safety hazards and ensure a safe and secure learning environment for learners and school personnel.

Nagsagawa ang Del Carmen Elementary School ng pagpupulong kasama ang mga magulang, lalo na ang mga PTA Officers mula sa bawat baitang, ngayong Hulyo 31, 2026. Tinalakay sa pagpupulong ang ilang mahahalagang usapin ng paaralan, kabilang ang pagpapaigting ng Gulayan sa Paaralan, pagbibigay-pansin sa pag-uugali at mga gawi ng mga mag-aaral, pagliban sa klase, School-Based Feeding Program, at iba pang usaping may kaugnayan sa kapakanan at pag-unlad ng mga mag-aaral.

Pinangunahan ang pagpupulong ni 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐌𝐲𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐂. 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐈, na nagbigay-diin sa kahalagahan ng pagtutulungan ng paaralan at mga magulang sa pagtugon sa mga pangangailangan at hamon ng mga mag-aaral. Nagbigay rin ng mensahe si 𝐒𝐏𝐓𝐀 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐇. 𝐓𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨, na hinikayat ang mga kapwa magulang na patuloy na makiisa at maging katuwang ng paaralan sa pagpapatupad ng mga programa at inisyatiba nito.

Sa sama-samang pagkilos ng paaralan at tahanan, mas napapalakas ang suporta para sa ikabubuti ng bawat batang Del Carmen.

Inventory Inspection Conducted at Del Carmen Elementary School📋

Del Carmen Elementary School welcomed the Municipal Officers for the conduct of an Inventory Inspection of school properties and equipment.

The activity aimed to strengthen transparency, accountability, and the proper management and utilization of government-owned assets, ensuring that all school properties are accurately accounted for and maintained in accordance with existing government rules and regulations.

Monitoring Visit Conducted at Del Carmen Elementary School 🌱🍽️🚰

Today, Mr. Ralph Mathew Tantoco, Technical Assistant I of SDO Laguna visited Del Carmen Elementary School to monitor and assess the implementation and progress of key school programs, including the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program (GPP), WASH in Schools (WinS), School Canteen Operations, and the School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP).

The monitoring aimed to ensure the effective implementation of these programs in promoting learners’ health, nutrition, sanitation, and overall well-being, while providing guidance and technical support for their continuous improvement.

Del Carmen Elementary School remains committed to strengthening these initiatives through collaborative efforts and quality service for the benefit of every learner.

Building a Bully-Free and Safe Learning Environment 🤝📚

On July 13, 2026, Alaminos Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted an informative and interactive awareness session for our Grade 4 to Grade 6 learners at Del Carmen Elementary School. The activity featured a video presentation and engaging discussion on the different forms of bullying, helping learners recognize, prevent, and respond appropriately to bullying incidents.

The session was spearheaded by PSSg Aimee Magunot, PCAD PNCO of Alaminos MPS, who also distributed comic-style educational flyers to reinforce the lessons in a fun and child-friendly way.

Del Carmen ES extends its heartfelt appreciation to Alaminos MPS for partnering with us in promoting respect, empathy, and a culture of kindness among our learners. Together, we continue to foster a school community where everyone feels safe, valued, and empowered.

The School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA) officers for the 2026–2027 school year were elected at Del Carmen Elementary School on July 10, 2026. Parents and guardians from kindergarten through sixth grade participated actively in the activity, showcasing their dedication to enhancing the relationship between the home and the school. Along with other officers and grade-level representatives from the various grade levels, Mrs. Merielle H. Tolentino was chosen as the SPTA president through an open and democratic election process. The recently elected officers pledged to collaborate closely with the school administration, educators, and other stakeholders to carry out initiatives and programs that will improve student performance, foster a secure and welcoming learning environment, and support Del Carmen Elementary School's ongoing development.
