📚 FROM LEARNING TO CLASSROOM PRACTICE | INSET 2026

Two meaningful days filled with learning, collaboration, reflection, and professional growth! 💙💛

Ihan National High School successfully conducted its two-day In-Service Training (INSET) 2026 on September 10–11, 2026, with the theme “From Learning Competencies to Quality Instruction and Assessment.” The training focused on strengthening teachers’ instructional practices through competency unpacking, lesson planning, learning activity sheet development, assessment construction, and quality assurance.

From unpacking competencies and developing learner-centered activities to constructing valid and meaningful assessments, our teachers were given opportunities to deepen their understanding and translate learning into classroom practice. The two-day INSET reminded us that continuous learning is an essential part of becoming better teachers for our learners.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our resource speakers for generously sharing their knowledge, expertise, and valuable insights with our teachers:

🌿 CLEAN TODAY, CARE FOR TOMORROW! 🌿

The YES-Organization of Ihan National High School, in partnership with the Science Club, conducted a meaningful Clean-Up Drive today, bringing the spirit of volunteerism and environmental responsibility beyond the school grounds and into the community. 💚

The activity started at the sentro of Barangay Ihan, where our learners, Youth Formation officers, and Science Club officers worked together to help keep the community clean and orderly. Afterward, the team proceeded to Ihan National High School to continue the clean-up drive within the school premises. 🌱

From supporting our efforts when we went to DENR to request seedlings, until today’s actual tree-planting activity, your assistance has been truly invaluable.

We are very grateful for allowing us to use the new barangay vehicle as our means of transportation, which greatly helped our learners reach the tree-planting site safely and conveniently. Your support for our school’s environmental initiatives is deeply appreciated. 🌱💚

Every seedling planted today represents hope for a greener tomorrow. May these young trees grow strong and remind us that when the school, community, and our young people work together, we can create a lasting impact on our environment.
