Ignacian-Marians took to the streets their passion for dancing and devotion to Sr. Sto. Niรฑo as they gracefully groove to the beats of Sinulog during the Dorongan Festival Streetdance Competition 2025.
The performers are composed of students from Grades 11 and 12 in the Basic Education Department. The competition mainly includes their street and main dance festive dance pieces.
Despite the scorching heat, the dancers showcased their 2-week-prepared piece smoothly in different street dance stations โ In front of the Bansalan Public Mall and In front of the KDH Shopping Center and lastly, at the Viacrusis Park where they performed their 10-minute main dance.
This yearโs dance piece is passionately choreographed by former SMCBI Faculty- Mr. Kenny Path Abatayo & Ms. Rhea Mae Manimog. The reigning Dorongan Festival Queen 2024, Savannah Kasandra Tonga brightly dances with her stunning gown as she made the crowd applaud, making the dance routine even more excellent.
Seven public and private high schools in the municipality of Bansalan performed different dance choreographies aiming to get the championship. With all the cheers and hopes, SMCBI achieves 1st runner up for this yearโs Dorongan Festival Street dancing Competition marking their 2-week preparation succesful.

The colors used in the logo are blue, red, yellow, and white. Blue symbolizes the vastness and interconnectedness of the digital world. Red represents the passion and drive of IT students. Yellow signifies the bright future and innovation of IT students. White embodies the purity and integrity of IT students. The logo is a symbol of the future of IT students in Davao Region. The logo is designed to be simple and recognizable, and it is intended to be used on a variety of materials, including digital platforms and social media. The logo also highlights a person's side face, formed by the map of Davao Region itself, with added details like lips and a nose, representing the potential and brilliance of IT students as they navigate the complex world of technology.
