Online Poster Making Contest
Mechanics / Guidelines

1.Poster Making was organized to explore and encourage creativity in an individual to showcase his/her skill. It will inspire them to think and work creatively in order to express through visual means.

2. Like and Follow the Environmental Information and Education Advocacy - SCNHS YES-O page (https://www.facebook.com/EIEAStaCruzNHS)

3. The contest is open to all students of Sta. Cruz National High School and one poster design is allowed per student.

4. Design concept should be based on the theme “Green Schools: Build Climate-Resilient and Sustainable Communities “and must not contain any malicious and offensive content.

5. The poster must be an original and should be drawn (free hand) in a ¼ illustration board.

6. Each contestant must submit a picture to Rhiz de Dios through messenger for the evidence for poster making.

7. The contestants are free to use any variety of art and coloring materials to express their thoughts. We encourage the participants to use the materials which is already available in their respective households to avoid going out.

8. The contestant must have a clear photo while holding their poster indicating their Name, Grade and Section. Send your photo to Rhiz de Dios (FB Name) through Messenger.

9. The contestant`s final piece must be submitted in school (SCNHS) on or before April 20,2022 at 3:00 PM for final judging, please look for Maam Sherreza de Jesus.

10. Posting of final entry before the final result in social media is strictly prohibited. The organizers have given the authority to post your final entry.

11. Digitized output will be disqualified. Only made by hand can be accepted.

12. The contestants will be judged using the following criteria:
• RELEVANCE TO THE THEME- 30%
• ORIGINALITY- 25%
• CREATIVITY- 20%
• COLOR HARMONY AND VISUAL IMPACT- 15%
• OVER-ALL IMPACT- 10%
• OVERALL TOTAL – 100 %

13. If the participants fail to submit their final entry on the given deadline will not be accepted.

14. All participants agree to abide these rules. Any violation of this rules shall be considered a ground for immediate disqualification and forfeit of their final entry.

15. The decision of the panel of judges are final and irrevocable.

Jingle Making Contest
Mechanics and Guidelines

1. The contest is open to all students of Santa Cruz National High School.

2. Like and Follow the Environmental Information & Education Advocacy - SCNHS YES-O page (https://www.facebook.com/EIEAStaCruzNHS)

3. The jingle must be an original composition and must not have been used as entry in any song competitions.

4. The content of the jingle must be lively, appealing, creative and must highlight the Yes-O theme: “Green Schools: Build Climate-Resilient and Sustainable Communities “

5. The use of offensive and rude words is strictly prohibited.

6. Any musical instrument can be used as accompaniment at the composer’s discretion.

7. Artist may express their piece via audio-video presentation (Song Cover)

8. The jingle must be in mp4 format and must be submitted. The duration of the jingle entry must be less than 3 minutes and a maximum of 5 minutes.

9. Introduction and explanation of the song as part of the entry is not necessary.

10. Masterpiece will be send at G-mail. Upload the file in Google drive and share the link to [email protected] on or before April 20,2022 for final judging.

11. The following criteria shall be used in judging:

a. Composition - 40% (Catchy Melody, lively music, rhythm, and recall
b. Relevance to the Theme - 30%
c. Lyric Content - 15%
(originality, clarity of message, language and phrasing)
d. Creativity - 15%
(use of Structure, Instrument and Vocals)
Total: 100%

VIDEO MAKING CONTEST
Mechanics & Guidelines

1. The contest is open to all bona fide students at Sta. Cruz National High School.

2. Participants must like, follow and share the Environmental Information & Education Advocacy - SCNHS YES-O page (https://www.facebook.com/EIEAStaCruzNHS).

3. The core idea of the video must follow the theme: “Green Schools: Build Climate-Resilient and Sustainable Communities“.

4. Each entry must not contain any offensive, inappropriate, disparaging remarks or any content which could adversely affect the name, reputation or goodwill of any person/s involved in the entry.

5. The video must be in mp4 format.

6. The length of the video must have a minimum of 2 minutes and a maximum of 3.

7. Each participating team must provide an original and duplicate copies of their entry.

8. Deadline for the submission of entries will be on or before April 20, 2022.

9. Entries should be saved in Google Drive and link must be sent to [email protected]

10. Top 3 entries will be announced as winners.

QUALIFIED ENTRIES MUST BE JUDGED ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

• Content – 40 %
o Originality, Creativity and Relevance to the Theme
• Technicality – 35 %
o Visual composition, Sound & Audio quality, and Adherence to the time limit
• Overall Quality – 25 %
o Overall video quality and creativity
