𝙉𝙚𝙬𝙨 | 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗹, 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝘅 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝘀𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲

A Hope Wall and Kindness Box will be installed in the school gymnasium by the Guidance Office to mark the school’s observance of Su***de Prevention Month this September.

These initiatives serve as a means to raise mental health awareness and promote meaningful actions to avoid self-inflicted harm due to mental health issues among learners.

The Guidance Office also assigned September 30 as Hope-themed Day and encouraged teachers, nonteaching personnel, and students to wear yellow as a symbol of hope, care, and solidarity for mental health and su***de prevention.

The month-long observance is facilitated by Ms. Ferry An R. Silvano, School Guidance Associate, and Mrs. Shirley K. Matab, Guidance In-charge.

The school community is also reminded that the Guidance Office is “always open to listen without judgment, without pressure, and with total confidentiality.”

Learners are assured that whatever they are going through, their feelings are valid, and that their worries are never too small to share.
