FYNHS enhances WATCH corner; unveils Graffiti wall for students voices

Federico Yap National High School (FYNHS) unveiled its new Graffiti Wall on January 19, 2026, giving students a creative space to express their sentiments and feelings.

The initiative forms part of the school’s ongoing efforts to make the WATCH Corner more engaging and interactive for learners. WATCH Officers helped in setting up the wall, ensuring it is accessible and properly maintained.

The ₱10,000 funding for the improvement of the WATH Corner and the Graffiti Wall came from FYNHS’s prize in the Search for Municipality of Sta. Cruz Best WATCH Implementer.

Among 23 participating schools, FYNHS emerged as the champion, receiving ₱15,000; the second and third placers were awarded ₱12,000 and ₱10,000, respectively, while consolation prizes were ₱5,000. The awarding ceremony was held on December 15, 2025, at the Megas Function Hall in Digos City.

The WATCH Officers played a key role in coordinating the use of the prize for the WATH Corner enhancement. Thanks to these amazing officers who gave time to enhance the school WATCH corner.

FOUND AND RETURNED

The reported missing iPhone X along the Astorga–Rizal area has been successfully returned to its owner, the phone was found last Tuesday by Mr. Melboy Embay, a tricycle driver. Thanks to the honesty of Mrs. Donnavie Lim who helped Mr. Embay to contact us.

Our school noted that the incident reflects the broader advocacy of WATCH, which extends beyond children and into the wider community in promoting responsibility and cooperation among residents. The owner has expressed gratitude to Mr. Embay for his honesty and willingness to help.💕
