Liguyon ES participated in the 1st Quarter 2026 National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) to strengthen disaster preparedness among learners and teachers.

The School Head, Ms. Mira D. Adlaon, shared a short message emphasizing the importance of readiness and safety during earthquakes.

After the drill, the School Head conducted a short Q&A session, where learners attentively listened and answered questions about earthquake preparedness.”

Newly promoted teachers and School Heads officially took their oath during the Regional Oath-Taking Ceremony led by Sonny Angara, Secretary of the Department of Education.
This event marked a significant milestone as the teachers formally pledged their continued commitment to excellence, integrity, and quality public service in education.

Four teachers from Liguyon ES were among those who proudly took their oath during the ceremony. Their commitment to excellence, integrity, and quality education was reaffirmed as they embraced greater responsibilities in their profession.

The Department of Education – Schools Division of Davao del Norte announces the Recruitment and Selection Process for Teacher I Applicants for:

Submission of Application Folders: February 9–20, 2026
Deadline of Submission: February 20, 2026

📌 Interested and qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.
📌 Applicants must comply with the CSC-approved qualification standards.
📌 All documents must be scanned in ONE (1) PDF file and uploaded online.
📌 Hard copies must also be submitted to the Liguyon Elementary School Sub-Committee.

Applicants must obtain at least 50 points to be included in the Comparative Assessment Result – Registry of Qualified Applicants (CAR-RQA).

Required documents include:
• Letter of Intent
• Personal Data Sheet (CS Form 212, Revised 2025)
• PRC License & LET Rating
• Transcript of Records
• Certificates of Training & Employment (if applicable)
• Other supporting documents as stated in the memorandum

Liguyon Year End Party

Away from the usual routines and responsibilities, the teachers of Liguyon community gathered for a meaningful year end celebration that highlighted the true spirit of unity and cooperation.

The success of this activity would not have been possible without the unwavering support and guidance of the School Head, sir Jonel Muyco, and the Administrative Officer, sir Jan Gabero.
Their encouragement, leadership, and commitment to the welfare of the entire school community provided the foundation for a well-organized and meaningful event.

The Liguyon team is deeply thankful for their trust and continuous support, which inspire everyone to work together with dedication and unity.
As the day came to a close, teachers left with tired smiles, loaded gifts, and full hearts, carrying with them strengthened relationships and a shared commitment to foster unity within the Liguyon community.

The coronation of the Hari at Reyna ng Pasko became one of the highlights of the Family Day celebration in Liguyon ES on December 17, 2025, bringing cheers and Christmas spirit to the crowd.

Dressed in festive attire and radiant smiles, the participants of Hari at Reyna ng Pasko added sparkle and joy in one celebration.
