For day classes at the DdOSC Main Campus, students shall shift to asynchronous learning until further notice. Meanwhile, night classes shall continue to be conducted through face-to-face instruction.

โ€ŽMarking the start of the new academic year, the Davao de Oro State College (DdOSC) โ€” Main Campus held its Studentsโ€™ General Orientation morning session on August 11, 2025, at Main Campus Center, through the Student Affairs and Services Division (SASD) in partnership with the College Student Council.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽTo ensure the participation of students from all departments, the orientation was held in two parts, with Teacher Education and Criminology students attending in the morning and Entrepreneurship and Agriculture students in the afternoon.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽOne of the key parts of the orientation was the presentation of various student support services available to the institution, including the Guidance and Counseling Section, Alumni Affairs and Services Section, Appraisal and Testing Section, and Career and Job Placement Section under the Student Welfare Section, presented by Judalyn J. Forro, Head of the Guidance and Counseling Section.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽTo formally open the activity, DdOSC Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Gloryjean C. Altamera welcomed the students and emphasized the privilege and responsibility that come with being an "Iskolar ng Bayan."

โ€ŽIn her message, Dr. Altamera encouraged the students to take their education seriously and make the most of the opportunities provided by the institution.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽIn addition, SASD Director Judith R. Tudy, MAEd, discussed the studentsโ€™ rights, duties, and responsibilities while also presenting the student activities planned for the academic year.

โ€ŽThe activity served as an avenue for students to become more familiar with the services, opportunities, rights, and responsibilities that come with being part of the institution and knowing what it means to be a true DdOSCian.
