Kinikilala ng tema ng Buwan ng Wika 2026 ang magkaugnay na papel ng wikang Filipino at artificial intelligence (AI) para sa makabansang gawain ng pananaliksik. Panawagan ito para sa responsableng paggamit ng AI habang tinitiyak na may makabuluhang espasyo ang Wikang Pambansa sa mga usaping may kinalaman sa mga umuusbong na teknolohiya at kaugnay na usaping pang-etika rito.

Itinuturing ang AI bilang kasangkapan para maiangat pa lalo ang kalidad ng saliksik na inihahandog ng mga Pilipino, unang-una, para sa mga kapuwa Pilipino. Habang kinakasangkapan ang AI, patuloy pa ring tinatahak ng wikang Filipino ang landas ng intelektuwalisasyon na magbubunga ng panloob at panlabas na pagbabago sa bansa. Sa ganitong paraan, kapuwa ang AI at wikang Filipino ay nagiging tulay na gagamitin ng mga Pilipino para sa kanilang pinapangarap na magandang bรบkas.

Ating ipagdiwang ang ating Wikang Pambansa sa Agosto 2026!

"Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!" ๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒ

Ngayong 52nd Nutrition Month, sama-sama nating itaguyod ang wastong nutrisyon at pangangalaga sa ating kalikasan. Ang pagpili ng masustansyang pagkain, pag-iingat sa ating likas na yaman, at pagsuporta sa lokal na produkto ay hakbang tungo sa isang mas malusog at mas matatag na kinabukasan para sa lahat.

Sa San Jose Elementary School, kaisa tayo sa adhikain ng PPAN at ng National Nutrition Council na palaganapin ang kahalagahan ng tamang nutrisyon at responsableng pangangalaga sa kapaligiran.

Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat!โ€
Sub-theme: โ€œNutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!โ€

Nakatuon ito sa ugnayan ng wastong nutrisyon, sustainable food systems, pangangalaga sa kapaligiran, at climate action.

Paano ito isasagawa sa instructional block?

Ang pangunahing tuntunin ay: ipagdiwang ang Nutrition Month sa pamamagitan ng curriculum integration at classroom-based learningโ€”hindi sa pamamagitan ng mga programang nakaaantala sa klase.

Nakasaad sa opisyal na DepEd regional guidance na ang Nutrition Month activities ay hindi dapat makabawas o makahadlang sa instructional time at dapat sumunod sa DepEd Order No. 009, s. 2026.

Fill my heart with peace, my mind with clarity, and bless the work of my hands.

Protect me and my loved ones, and guide everything I do today.

In line with the Division Memorandum SGOD-2025-247 on the submission and validation of documentary photos from affected schools, Division personnel headed by the DRRM Coordinator Sir Mc Adrian Nouve Cobero together with GSIS Personnel Sir Engr. Antonio Labsan conducted a site validation of damages caused by the recent 7.4 magnitude earthquake last October 10, 2025.

The activity aimed to assess and document the extent of damages in affected school facilities, ensuring that all necessary data and evidence are properly gathered for the implementation of appropriate assistance, insurance coverage, and recovery support under the Unified Insurance Adjusters (Philippines) Inc appointed by the Government System Insurance System (GSIS).

This validation reflects the continued commitment of the Schools Division of Davao Oriental and partner agencies to safeguard school facilities, support affected learners and personnel, and strengthen disaster preparedness and resilience in the education sector.
