On September 24–26, 2025, San Isidro National High School participated in the Division Special Needs Education (SNED) Fun Day at Lambajon Central Elementary School SPED Center, Lambajon, Baganga, Davao Oriental. Our learners showcased their skills and proudly brought home several awards:

🥇1st Place – Hearing Impaired (HI) Sign Language Contest
🥈2nd Place – HI Song Interpretation (Combined Elementary & Secondary)
🥉 3rd Place – On-the-Spot Painting (HI, Child with Autism, and Intellectual Disability categories)
🎤 9th Place – Vocal Solo
💃 5th Place – Modern Dance LD (Combined Elementary & Secondary)

San Isidro National High School’s SNED learners actively joined the District SNED Fun Day held yesterday, showcasing their talents, skills, and teamwork through various activities prepared for them. The event highlighted inclusivity and camaraderie among learners, teachers, and stakeholders, making it a meaningful celebration of diversity and student potential.

With their successful participation at the district level, the SINHS SNED learners are now preparing for the upcoming Division SNED Fun Day on September 24–26, 2025, at Lambajon Central Elementary School SPED Center, Baganga, Davao Oriental.

In line with the observance of White Cane Safety Day, a simulation activity was conducted yesterday, August 7, to highlight the experiences of individuals with visual impairments. Led by the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) officers, the event was held on campus as part of the month-long celebration of Sight Saving Month themed “Be Wise, Protect your Eyes!”

Participants, who were Special Needs Education (SNED) learners, were blindfolded and guided while using white canes, helping them understand the challenges and skills involved in navigating the environment without sight.

The activity aimed to promote empathy and raise awareness about the importance of eye health, safety, and accessibility.

As part of the 47th National Disability Rights (NDR) Week celebration, San Isidro National High School (SINHS) Special Needs Education (SNED) Program conducted a feeding activity in Purok Perlas, Wason, Batobato, San Isidro, Davao Oriental, today, July 20, 2025.

The activity was held in line with the national observance of NDR Week, pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 597, s. 2024, with the theme "Innovation for Inclusion: Building Inclusive Communities Together."

The event aimed to promote inclusivity and community support for persons with disabilities.

We proudly celebrate the achievements of Jondel Anislag and Christian Olea in the Division Celebration of National Intellectual Disability Week.

Jondel won 4th place in the On-the-Spot Drawing Contest, while Christian earned 5th place in the Table Setting Competition.

Their coaches are Ma’am Nemodin Cajegas and Ma’am Louine Mae Leopardas. Special appreciation is also given to Sir Edmundo Chan for his help in preparing for the Table Setting Contest and Neeca Mendoza in the On-the-Spot Drawing Contest.

Meanwhile, San Isidro North won 1st place overall in the event.

In celebration of National Intellectual Disability Week, SNED learners participated in a cooking and feeding activity today, February 20. The feeding activity took place at Katipunan Day Care Center.

As part of San Isidro National High School’s celebration of the 29th National Autism Consciousness Week, students participated in the Sandwich Making Activity aimed at promoting inclusivity and hands-on learning. The event provided an opportunity for students to collaborate, develop life skills, and express creativity through food preparation.
