The 9th Graduation Rites and 11th Moving Up & Recognition Ceremony

​Today marks a momentous milestone as our graduates, completers, and awardees transition toward new horizons. This celebration is a testament to their resilience and the bright futures that await them.
​We were privileged to welcome Ms. Gema C. Francisquete, representing Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Josephine L. Fadul. The ceremony was further distinguished by the profound and stirring message of our guest speaker, Dr. Rodrigo A. Salimaco, Jr., whose wisdom serves as a compass for our students as they navigate their next chapters.
​Aligned with the theme, "Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character," the school extends its heartfelt appreciation to the parents, faculty, and community partners who championed our students throughout the 2025–2026 academic year. Old Macopa National High School successfully conducted its Career Guidance Program, empowering learners to explore their future paths and make informed decisions about their careers.

This meaningful activity aimed to:
📌 Provide students with valuable insights about different career opportunities
📌 Help them discover their interests, skills, and strengths
📌 Guide them in choosing the right academic and career track

Through engaging discussions, shared experiences, and practical advice, our students were inspired to dream big and prepare for the journey ahead.

Old Macopa National High School actively participated in the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill as part of our continuous commitment to safety and preparedness.

Through this activity, our learners, teachers, and staff practiced the proper response during an earthquake to ensure that everyone is ready and aware in times of unexpected calamities.

Yesterday, our hearts were shattered as we mourned the passing of our Grade 8 student, Romel Pedro.

Today, the room feels unbearably different—his seat is vacant, and the silence speaks louder than words. Every corner reminds us of his presence, now painfully missed. His classmates gathered in prayer, holding back tears as they remembered the laughter, friendship, and moments that made him part of their everyday lives. In that shared prayer, they also lifted up his family, asking for strength, comfort, and healing as they face this heartbreaking loss.

Though Romel is no longer physically with us, his memory lives on—in the classroom, in the stories we shared, and in the hearts he touched. He will never be forgotten. May his soul rest in peace, and may his family feel the love and prayers surrounding them during this time of grief. 🤍🕊️

The school extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Josephine Antop Mamparo , District Coordinating Principal of Manay South District , for her visit and for providing valuable technical assistance.

Her supervision and monitoring of the rigid review for the National Achievement Test (NAT) of Grades 10 and 12, along with her guidance in the implementation of ARAL, significantly contributed to the strengthening of our academic programs and instructional practices.

Moreover, Dr. Mamparo provided an avenue for an open forum, allowing teachers to clarify concerns and raise questions regarding the NAT review. This opportunity was actively embraced by the teachers, fostering clearer understanding and more effective preparation for the assessment.

The school community is truly grateful for her continued support, leadership, and commitment to quality education.

"Rooted in Purpose, Reaching for Greatness: 24 Years of Shared Ground"

Last January 30, 2026, OLD MACOPA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL proudly celebrated its 24th Founding Anniversary—a milestone that honors our humble beginnings, strong foundations, and the countless lives shaped along the way.

This meaningful celebration was graced by the presence and support of our distinguished guests: Hon. Nelson “Boy” L. Dayanghirang, represented by Former Board Member Andy Monday; Board Member Beverly M. Dayanan; Hon. Jon Marco M. Dayanghirang, represented by Hon. Jesus “Joy” Mamparo; Hon. Daisy Donato, Hon. Allan D. Niez, represented by Hon. Ronnie Masinadiong; and our supportive District Coordinating Principal, Dr. Josephine A. Mamparo. Your presence reminded us that education truly thrives through shared leadership and strong community partnership.

The celebration came alive through activities that reflected unity, creativity, and growth—the Landscaping and GPP Contest, Parents Got Talent, and the highlight of the morning program, the Field Demonstration,that highlighted the students’ dancing talents under the guidance of their teachers, symbolizing unity, discipline, and growth rooted in strong mentorship.

In the afternoon, the elegance and pride of our learners shone during the Coronation Rites, while the evening marked a historic moment with the 1st Alumni Homecoming, a joyful reunion of those who have been part of OMNHS’s 24-year journey.

From classrooms to corridors, from past to present, this celebration was more than an event—it was a tribute to every teacher, learner, parent, alumnus, and partner who helped nurture this institution. Truly, we are rooted in purpose, and together, we will keep reaching for greatness.

Old Macopa National High School is pleased to announce that Early Registration is now open for the upcoming academic year. We invite parents, guardians, and learners to take this proactive step in securing a seat for a year of excellence and growth.

Who Can Register?
​We are currently accepting applications for the following:
• ​Incoming Grade 7
• ​Incoming Grade 11
• ​Out-of-School Youth (Learners returning to their educational journey)
