Led by our dedicated SNED teachers and learners, the café is more than a place to enjoy refreshments — it is a space where talents shine, confidence grows and community bonds are strengthened.

Join us every Thursday, 2:30 PM – 5:00 pm, exclusively for teachers, parents and friends of MCES teachers who have booked ahead. For safety and order, we kindly remind everyone that only those with confirmed bookings will be accommodated.

MCES Education Continues Beyond the Quake

In the aftermath of the 7.1 magnitude earthquake that struck Sarangani yesterday, August 5, Malita Central Elementary School continues to uphold its Learning Continuity Plan, ensuring that education remains uninterrupted for every learner.

Students who are able to attend school are engaged in face-to-face classes, while those unable to join onsite are supported through online sessions via Google Meet.To reach every learner, teachers also send activity sheets and performance test guides through Messenger, organized per grade level and section, making sure that each child receives the support they need.

This collective effort is strengthened by the support of our parents and guardians, who remain vital partners in guiding learners at home. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Principal IV, Ma’am Bevirlyn Jimenea and Assistant Principal, Sir Arnel Abellaneda, for their leadership and guidance.

True to its values of virtue and collaboration, MCES proves that with dedicated teachers and a united community, learning continues even in the face of challenges.

📢 Opisyal nga Pahibalo

Sumala sa Memorandum Order No. 22, S. 2026 nga gipagawas sa Probinsya sa Davao Occidental, ang Malita Central Elementary School magpadayon na sa full face-to-face classes sugod karong Lunes, Agosto 3, 2026. Gisiguro sa administrasyon nga ang pasilidad sa eskwelahan luwas ug andam alang sa pagbalik sa tanan nga estudyante ug magtutudlo.

Gina-awhag ang tanang ginikanan ug guardians nga pa skwelahon ang ilang mga anak 5 ka adlaw matag semana aron mapalig-on ang kalidad sa edukasyon ug masiguro ang padayon nga paglambo sa pagbansay ug pagkat-on.

Ang kalampusan sa atong eskwelahan nagasalig sa pakigtambayayong sa komunidad — mga ginikanan, magtutudlo ug mga estudyante aron mapadayon ang kaluwasan, kahimsog ug kalig-on sa edukasyon sa MCES.

Our SNED learners proudly baked today, filling the school with smiles, laughter and the delicious aroma of their finished product. Teachers and classmates were happy to share the joy, while parents beamed with pride. This simple activity showed that every child’s talent deserves to be celebrated—proof that when given opportunities, they can shine. The finished product was not only delicious but also a symbol of acceptance, inclusivity and love within our school community.

Bida and Bido Visit MCES

Smiles, laughter, and pure joy filled Malita Central Elementary School as Bida and Bido, the beloved mascots of the Bida Basa Tayo Program of the Schools Division of Davao Occidental, came to inspire our learners. Teachers and pupils were very happy to see them, taking pictures and sharing moments that remind us all—reading is fun, meaningful, and best enjoyed together.

Voices Amplified, Hearts United: A Day of Support and Inclusivity

Malita Central Elementary School celebrated a special day of gratitude and unity that touched the lives of teachers, parents and learners alike. Two important events brought joy, pride and inspiration to the whole community.

📌 Turnover of DepEd Lapel Voice Amplifiers
With the presence of officials from DepEd Region XI and the Division of Davao Occidental, all 53 teachers of MCES received their own lapel voice amplifier, plus a solar lamp, hygiene kit and cash assistance for the school. For teachers, this means stronger voices and easier teaching. For parents and learners, it means clearer lessons and better learning experiences.

📌 ☕ Opening of the HUGS Café (Help to Understand the Gaps of SNED)
At the same time, the HUGS Café opened its doors, led by our SNED teachers and learners. Guests enjoyed coffee and delicacies prepared with love. This café is more than just food—it shows the talents of learners with special needs and reminds everyone that inclusivity makes our school family stronger.

Thanks to the leadership of Principal IV, Ma’am Bevirlyn Jimenea and Assistant Principal, Sir Arnel B. Abellaneda, these events became a true celebration of support and unity.

For teachers, it was empowerment. For parents, it was assurance. For learners, it was pride and joy. Truly, this day will be remembered as a moment when the MCES community stood together, stronger than ever.

Ang Malita Central Elementary School ay lubos na nagpapasalamat sa Probinsya ng Davao Occidental sa pagbibigay ng 200 na bagong armchairs para sa aming mga silid-aralan.

Ang tulong na ito ay isang mahalagang hakbang tungo sa mas maayos at komportableng kapaligiran sa pagkatuto ng aming mga mag-aaral. Sa bawat armchair, nakikita namin ang patuloy na suporta at malasakit ng pamahalaan para sa kinabukasan ng kabataan ng Malita.

Maraming salamat po sa inyong walang sawang pagtulong at pakikiisa sa layunin ng edukasyon.

Sa pagtuman sa Memorandum Order No. 83, S. 2026 nga gipagawas sa atong pinalangga nga Probinsya sa Davao Occidental, kami sa Malita Central Elementary School naghiusa sa pag-ampo matag alas 1:00 sa hapon. Karong adlawa, among opisyal nga gipatuman ug gisugdan ang maong panaghiusa nga pag-ampo ug paghangyo sa Ginoo alang sa kaayohan, kalig-on, ug pag-ayo sa tanang katawhan human sa kalamidad. Magpadayon kita sa pag-ampo uban ang paglaum ug pagtuo nga kita giyaon ug panalipdan sa Diyos.
