๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐: ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐'๐ ๐๐๐๐๐
Today, we celebrate National Womenโs Month with the theme โEmpowered Women, Empower Women,โ honoring trailblazing Filipina leaders whose voices have shaped our nation. From former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyoโs call to โwork harder to break the remaining myths that relegate our women to being second-class individualsโ and band together for economic empowerment, to the fearless spirit of the late Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago who declared, โI eat death threats for breakfastโ, and Vice President Leni Robredoโs resolve: โYou do not lose sight of what you believe in... there are bigger battles to fight".
These powerful women remind us that true progress ignites when we achieve equality, education, and courage in the face of adversityโjust as Rizalโs light guides our path.
On this Womenโs Month, may we rise as empowered, united, and resilient Filipinos, carrying their legacy in our actions and service. Because as long as their words inspire us, our nation shines brighter.
โShe is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.โ โProverbs 31:25
