Drop, Cover , Hold On: Practice Saves Lives
June 19, 2025| First quarter Nationwide Earthquake Simultaneous Drill
Datu Ansayod Elementary School held a school-wide earthquake drill last June 19, 2025, to teach students and staff essential life-saving techniques. Led by Disaster Risk Reduction Coordinator Maam Kemverly C. Ayon, the drill focused on preparedness and effective responses to earthquakes. Ma'am Kemverly briefed learners and teachers demonstrating the " Drop, Cover and Hold On" using clear language. She all emphasized safe evacuation routes and the importance of calm during an emergency. Teachers were reminded to assists younger learners. The successful drill highlighted the school's dedication to safety and community's resilience in the face of disater.
