It was a privilege to bring joy, creativity, and inclusive play to children with exceptionalitiesโ€”and an even greater joy to be recognized for it.

We also took this moment to honor the student volunteers who poured their hearts into every dance, story, and game. Their ๐’ธ๐‘œ๐“‚๐“…๐’ถ๐“ˆ๐“ˆ๐’พ๐‘œ๐“ƒ, ๐‘’๐“ƒ๐‘’๐“‡๐‘”๐“Ž, ๐’ถ๐“ƒ๐’น ๐‘œ๐“…๐‘’๐“ƒ๐“ƒ๐‘’๐“ˆ๐“ˆ made the program truly meaningful.

๐“๐ก๐š๐ง๐ค ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ to the school for welcoming us, to the children for inspiring us, and to the students who continue to prove that kindness and creativity go a long way.

We, The ๐๐’ ๐๐’๐˜๐‚๐‡ ๐Ÿ‘๐ƒ, recently spent time with some amazing kids through our program "๐˜ผ๐™ฃ๐™™๐™ฎ๐˜ผ๐™ž๐™™๐™š: ๐˜ฝ๐™ง๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™๐™ค๐™ฎ๐™จ ๐™ฉ๐™ค ๐™‡๐™ž๐™›๐™š, ๐™€๐™ข๐™—๐™ง๐™–๐™˜๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™€๐™ซ๐™š๐™ง๐™ฎ ๐˜พ๐™๐™ž๐™ก๐™™โ€™๐™จ ๐™Ž๐™ฉ๐™ค๐™ง๐™ฎ." It wasnโ€™t just an activityโ€”it was a powerful reminder that every child, especially those with exceptionalities, has their own unique way of seeing the world. ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ’–

Through dance, art, and play, we got to listen to their storiesโ€”without needing words. We played all sorts of fun and meaningful gamesโ€”from ๐ฆ๐š๐ค๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฌ๐ช๐ฎ๐š๐ซ๐ž in the marshmallow pasta challenge, to showing off our moves in ๐’๐ญ๐จ๐ฉ ๐ƒ๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž, diving into imagination during ๐’๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ๐ญ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ , and racing to find items in the classic ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐Œ๐ž ๐ ๐š๐ฆ๐ž. Each activity brought out the kidsโ€™ creativity, confidence, and happiness. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŽจ

They taught us ๐™ฅ๐™–๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™š๐™ฃ๐™˜๐™š, ๐™˜๐™ง๐™š๐™–๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ซ๐™ž๐™ฉ๐™ฎ, ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐™Ÿ๐™ค๐™ฎ in its purest form. In those moments, it didnโ€™t matter who was teaching or who was learning. We were just togetherโ€”laughing, building, and making space for every story to be seen and heard.
