From the halls of Antonio Pichon Jr. Elementary School to the national spotlight of Ormoc City where the National Schools Press Conference 2026 unfolded, Ang Kombeyor and The Conveyor did more than represent. They rose, resounded, and redefined what it means to be voices of truth.

Recognized among the finest in both Elementary English and Filipino categories, this milestone stands as a symbol of excellence, resilience, and unwavering passion for journalism.

Adding to this remarkable feat, The Conveyor proudly ranks as Davao Region’s 4th Best School Paper in the Elementary English category, while Ang Kombeyor secures its place as the 2nd Best School Paper in Elementary Filipino—a testament to their consistent excellence both regionally and nationally.

This recognition is not a single victory. It is a collective triumph.

With heartfelt gratitude to our School Paper Advisers, 𝐌𝐚𝐯𝐲 𝐉𝐨𝐲 𝐃. 𝐄𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐧 and 𝐄𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐂. 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨, whose guidance turned raw talent into refined excellence and whose dedication shaped stories into impact.

To our Principal, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐚, 𝐏𝐡𝐃, the guiding force whose leadership nurtured a culture where young voices are heard, valued, and empowered to lead.

To our District Supervisor, 𝐍𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐏. 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞, for your unwavering support and belief in the power of campus journalism to shape minds and inspire communities.

To our student journalists, editors, layout artists, and photojournalists, you are the heartbeat of this victory. Behind every page are your sleepless nights, your courage to tell the truth, and your commitment to meaningful storytelling. You have proven that even the youngest voices can create the greatest impact.

It has been a year marked by struggles and victories. Yet through it all, we rise from every occasion, stronger, bolder, and more determined.

This is more than an award.
This is a legacy in motion.
This is Ang Kombeyor and The Conveyor.

The Conveyor carried not just pages, but dreams, to the recently concluded Regional Schools Press Conference 2026—and returned home with honors that tell a story of courage and relentless dedication: 7th Place in Feature Page, 6th Place in Science and Technology Page, 4th Place in Editorial Page, 2nd Place in Sports Page, and 1st Place in Layout and Page Design.

Behind every recognition was a journey filled with revisions, pressure, quiet breakdowns, and powerful comebacks. Every paragraph written held conviction. Every headline carried responsibility. Every layout perfected was a reflection of sleepless nights and unwavering belief.

Placing 1st in Layout and Page Design was not just about defending a title—it was about proving that excellence can be sustained. Ranking 2nd in Sports Page showed strength and precision. Securing top spots in Editorial, Sci-Tech, and Feature Writing revealed voices brave enough to speak truth and creativity bold enough to stand out.

These are not just awards.
These are sacrifices made visible.
These are prayers answered.
These are young journalists discovering how powerful their voices can be.

At the regional stage, The Conveyor did not just compete—it fought, it shined, and it endured.

𝐔𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐤, 𝐍𝐒𝐏𝐂 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐝!

🏆UNANG PWESTO- Pahinang Isports
🏆IKALAWANG PWESTO- Pahinang Editoryal
🏆IKAAPAT NA PWESTO- Pahinang Balita
