𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐌 𝟏𝟏 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐭 𝐔𝐏 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨

On 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, students from 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐌 𝟏𝟏 embarked on an exciting Laboratory Visitation at the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 specifically at the 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲. The activity aimed to connect classroom knowledge with real-world research practices, inspiring students to pursue careers in science and research.

The students were given a comprehensive laboratory tour that provided hands-on exposure to advanced scientific equipment and experiments. The visit was designed to foster scientific growth and development by immersing students in a research-driven environment. It allowed them to witness cutting-edge research techniques and interact with experts in the field, enriching their academic experience beyond traditional classroom instruction.

With the success of this initiative, the school aims to continue collaborating with universities and research institutions to provide students with meaningful learning experiences that prepare them to meet global scientific standards.

On November 8, 2024, Holy Cross College of Calinan (HCCC) faculty and staff gathered for an insightful Seminar on Good Research Practice led by Kissah A. Neri, CPA, MBA. This engaging session emphasized the importance of standardized research methods, data credibility, and participant protection, while encouraging innovative approaches to improve research practices across departments.

The event was a great opportunity for faculty and non-teaching personnel to reflect on best practices, particularly in handling student data, and to discuss ways to enhance services through research integrity.

On August 31, 2024, the Administration of Holy Cross College of Calinan, Inc., hosted an institutional conference to evaluate and enhance the school's support systems.

This collaborative effort, involving heads of various departments, ensured that all plans and programs met the standards of DepEd, CHED, PEAC, and PAASCU, paving the way for strategic development aligned with external accrediting agencies.
