Last September 13, 2025, the 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 proudly held the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐢𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐈𝐒𝐅𝐀𝐂) 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, in celebration of 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐢𝐝 𝐃𝐚𝐲 at the University of the Immaculate Conception- Bajada Camous. On August 16 2025, the 𝐔𝐈𝐂 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐥𝐮𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 (𝐒𝐏𝐑𝐂𝐘) 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐈𝐂 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 (𝐒𝐑𝐂𝐘) proudly participated in the Hands-Only CPR Training organized by the Safety Services in collaboration with the Red Cross Youth program. The event gathered 157 youth volunteers from different councils in Davao City as preparation for the 2025 Interschool First Aid Competition.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬-𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐏𝐑 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐒𝐅𝐀𝐂

The Safety Services, in collaboration with the Red Cross Youth program, conducted a free Hands-Only CPR Training on Saturday, August 16, to upskill RCY members in preparation for the 2025 Interschool First Aid Competition.

The training was attended by 157 youth volunteers from Senior Red Cross Youth and Senior Plus Red Cross Youth councils in Davao City.

We look forward to more capacity-building trainings with our RCY councils!

The National Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Day is celebrated every 17th of July as mandated by Republic Act No. 10871, also known as the Samboy Lim Law.

CPR Day aims to promote CPR awareness and encourage people to learn lifesaving techniques.

Learning CPR is crucial in emergencies; equipping yourself with knowledge and skills on how to perform it can save lives.
