Yesterday’s DYE Leadership Circle Meetup reminded us that burnout isn’t a badge of honor — it’s a signal.
A signal to pause, to reset, and to take care of the person behind the deadlines, the projects, and the goals. 🌤️

A huge thank you to Ms. Peng Sumarago for an inspiring and grounding session — for reminding us that real leadership isn’t about pushing harder, but knowing when to breathe, rest, and rise stronger. 💛

💬 Let’s talk balance, leadership, and how to lead without losing yourself.

Our 2nd stop brought us to Barangay Lamiawan, one of the most remote areas in Caraga — yet filled with some of the warmest smiles we’ve ever seen. Despite the long road and rough terrain, every greeting, every “salamat,” every bright, thankful eye reminded us why we do this. 🌿

Volunteers went house to house, personally delivering food packs to families whose homes were damaged by the earthquake. Seeing the cracks, the fallen walls, and the courage of those rebuilding from almost nothing was both heartbreaking and humbling. Our food packs may not last long, but for them, it meant being remembered — and that meant everything. 💚

A huge thank you to our local contact persons who guided us through the barangay and volunteered their time to help us reach every corner. We also extend our deepest gratitude to MEXC Foundation, our donors, and everyone who shared their blessings — your generosity made this mission possible. 🙏

And as the day ended, we, the volunteers, shared a simple dinner together — tired, dusty, but deeply fulfilled. With grateful hearts and full smiles, we headed back to Davao City safely, carrying stories we’ll never forget.
