IN PHOTO || 3 PROFESSIONAL SCHOOLS STUDENTS REPRESENT PH TO ACADEMIC EXCHANGE IN LATVIA UNDER ERASMUS SCHOLARSHIP

Congratulations and bon voyage to our 3 Professional Schools students who are en route to Latvia tonight to commence a semester of academic exchange at the Daugavpils University, Latvia!

The students are under the Erasmus student mobility scholarship and will be studying at the host university from September 2026 to January 2027.

Daugavpils University (DU) is the biggest regional university in Latvia. Primarily having been established as an educational institution for teachers, the University continues its pedagogical traditions simultaneously focusing on Life Sciences, Linguistics, Social Sciences and Management.

UM has been sending graduate students to the Daugavpils University every year since 2018, making DU as one of UM’s strongest and most consistent international partners, with collaborations extending to staff mobility and joint research publications.
