SEEdS officially begins its first mission in the program, the 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐨𝐥 2026! *ੈ✩‧₊˚

Another year, another batch of freshies has started to sprout— each carrying different stories, unique dreams, and endless potential.

It's the day filled with meaningful moments as we listened to inspiring messages from our guest speaker, Dr. Randy A. Tudy, and our dear own Program Head, Dr. Emmie M. Cabanlit, who warmly welcomed our freshmen into the BEEd family. We also explored the campus through a fun campus tour for our freshmen where we let them discover opportunities to get involved and make the most of their college journey.

As we celebrate the beginning of a new chapter, no one walks alone, because you've got a friend in SEEdS! Together, let us learn, grow, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

So buckle up, future educators, as we embark on a journey of learning, leadership, and service. The adventure has just begun.

🌱𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆: 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱.🌱

The Society of Elementary Education Students (SEEdS) successfully conducted SEEdS Paglawig 2026 last May 15, 2026 at the Social Hall, USeP Obrero Campus. Anchored on the theme, “Gikan sa Gamay nga Liso, Ngadto sa Dakong Damgo,” the event honored the journey, sacrifices, achievements, and memories of the graduating BEEd 4 students as they prepare for new horizons in becoming dedicated educators for young minds.

More than just a celebration, PAGLAWIG symbolized the journey of every future elementary educator filled with challenges, growth, perseverance, and unforgettable experiences that shaped them into future teachers who will inspire and guide young minds. The event also served as a symbolic passing of leadership, responsibility, and legacy to the BEEd 3 students who will continue the journey started by their seniors.

The program was highlighted by symbolic ceremonies such as the Bestowing and Acceptance of the Guiding Light, candle blowing and wish-making, tribute presentations for the graduating BEEd 4 students, inspirational messages from alumni and faculty members, and the Words of Commitment delivered by the graduating batch. These meaningful activities reflected the journey, legacy, and aspirations of every future elementary educator as they continue to pursue their dreams and passion for teaching.

Indeed, PAGLAWIG 2026 became a celebration of growth, unity, inspiration, and the continuing journey of future elementary educators committed to shaping brighter futures for young minds.

[𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞] 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 – 𝗢𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗭𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 | 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗔 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗢𝗡 𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗘

We, the Society of Elementary Education Students Executives of the College of Education, would like to clarify the concerns regarding the tabulation of results from the recently concluded activity.

Following a thorough and collective deliberation with the Local Council, all organization heads were given the opportunity to review and verify the tabulation. While adjustments were made due to deductions and corrections in score inputs, the final results resulted in a change of Overall Scores.

As representatives of our respective programs, we have mutually agreed to uphold the final tabulation and recognize the deserving champions and runner ups. This decision was reached collectively, with fairness, understanding, and unity in mind.

We also agreed to maintain confidentiality on specific tabulation details to prevent confusion and unnecessary conflict. This was formally acknowledged through a non-disclosure agreement among all organization heads.

With this, we stand as one with the Local Council in affirming the final results. We respectfully encourage everyone to support this unified decision and to raise any further concerns through proper internal channels.

Let us continue to promote unity, respect, and sportsmanship within our College.

𝗣𝗮𝗱𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻, 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀! 📚✨

The Society of Elementary Education Students (SEEdS) held its 2nd General Assembly “Padayon: Strengthening Bonds, Fulfilling Purpose" on March 06, 2026.

The event brought together more than 100 future elementary teachers for a productive meeting that built teamwork among the members. The program started with encouraging words from the SEEdS adviser Sir Gerald C. Cagape, the BEEd program head Dr. Emmie M. Cabanlit, and one of the CORE BEEd faculty members Dr. Tolentino, which made everyone feel positive and ready for the day.

Key highlights included the discussion on preparations for the upcoming CEd Festival, where members were oriented on activities and responsibilities, as well as the presentation of the organization’s financial report of expenses to promote transparency and accountability.

Through these activities, the members were reminded of their important role as future elementary teachers who will help young children learn. More than just a gathering, the assembly helped everyone feel the spirit of “Padayon” again. It encouraged every SEEdS member to keep moving forward with a clear goal and hard work on their journey to becoming elementary educators.

As we celebrate Arts Month, we are reminded that art is not confined to canvases and galleries. It thrives in classrooms through colorful bulletin boards, carefully crafted flashcards, thoughtfully arranged charts, and every intentionally designed learning resource. The artistry of teaching shines through the dedication and creativity of our future elementary educators.

In celebration of Artful Learning: Crafting Creative Instructional Materials, we proudly present the remarkable outputs of the BEEd students from their successful teaching demonstrations. Their work reflects not only preparation but also imagination and heart.

More than mere requirements, these instructional materials prove that creativity transforms learning. Through their hands, lessons become clearer, more engaging, and truly meaningful where education itself becomes a work of art.

To show our appreciation, a small token of gratitude was given as a symbol of our love, respect, and sincere thanks for their invaluable efforts and sacrifices. The 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 of the College of Education, University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) has been officially granted 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗜𝗩 𝗥𝗲-𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP), valid from December 1, 2025 to November 30, 2030.

This recognition affirms the program’s commitment to excellence in elementary teacher education, preparing future educators who are equipped with strong pedagogical foundations, inclusive teaching practices, and a deep dedication to nurturing young learners in diverse classroom settings.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated faculty and staff, passionate students, proud alumni, and valued stakeholders whose collective efforts, unwavering support, and shared commitment to the program’s mission made this milestone possible.
