Sixto Babao Elementary School officially commenced the first day of the 20-day ARAL Summer Remediation Program last May 6, 2026, marking the beginning of a meaningful summer learning journey for our learners.

The program aims to strengthen the learners’ skills in Reading and Mathematics through engaging and learner-friendly activities designed to help them improve academically and become more prepared for the upcoming school year. The ARAL Reading program caters to learners from Grade 1 to Grade 6, while the ARAL Mathematics program is intended for incoming Grades 2 to 4.

Teachers warmly welcomed the participating learners as they began their summer classes with enthusiasm and excitement. Through the continued support of parents, teachers, and the community, the school remains committed to providing quality learning opportunities and ensuring that no learner is left behind.

The ARAL Summer Program will run until June 2, 2026, giving learners the chance to continue learning, develop confidence, and enhance their foundational skills even during the school break.

Meanwhile, as part of the school’s continuing effort to support the learners, School Principal Mr. Arbie A. Dela Torre coordinated with the Barangay Ilang Council to provide free shuttle service for pupils who are struggling with transportation fare going to school. Two Travis vans will be used to assist learners in going to and from school safely and conveniently during the program.

The shuttle service starts picking up learners at 7:00 in the morning at Ocean View Terminal, with designated drop-off points at Amparo, Eagles View, and Ocean View areas to better serve the participating pupils.

The ARAL Summer Program continues to reflect the school’s commitment to making learning more accessible and meaningful for every learner.
