The Elpidio Quirino Elementary School's Gender and Development (GAD) Program is committed to promoting gender equality and women empowerment in the school community. We believe that all students, regardless of gender, deserve equal opportunities to succeed.
Our GAD program focuses on the following areas:
1. Raising awareness of gender issues: We work to educate students, teachers, and parents about gender equality and the importance of challenging gender stereotypes.
2. Promoting gender-responsive teaching and learning: We support teachers to create a classroom environment where all students feel welcome and valued. We also encourage teachers to use gender-inclusive language and materials in their lessons.
3. Empowering girls and young women: We offer a variety of programs and activities to help girls and young women develop their leadership skills and confidence. We also work to promote positive body image and self-esteem.
Our GAD program is essential to creating a more equitable and inclusive school community. We believe that when all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential, everyone benefits.
Visit our GAD page to learn more about our programs and activities, and to get involved in our work to promote gender equality.
