A meaningful step toward building a safe, inclusive, respectful, and student-centered school community.

On August 10, 2026, the Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai School of Calinan successfully conducted an Anti-Bullying Awareness Seminar with the theme, “With Every Small Act, Serves a Great Impact.”

The activity was made possible through the valuable support and partnership of the PNP Calinan, Davao City, with our distinguished speakers, 𝙋𝘾𝙋𝙇 𝘼𝙋𝙍𝙄𝙇 𝙏 𝙈𝘼𝙂𝙐𝙄𝙉𝙎𝘼𝙔, 𝙁𝙅𝙂𝘼𝘿 𝙋𝙉𝘾𝙊 for the 𝘼𝙣𝙩𝙞-𝘽𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 and 𝙋𝘾𝙋𝙇 𝙕𝙄𝙉𝙅𝙄𝙀 𝘽 𝙈𝙐𝙏𝙄𝘼, 𝙎𝘾𝘼𝘿 𝙋𝙉𝘾𝙊 for the 𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. They shared their knowledge and guidance on bullying prevention, responsible behavior, respect, and the importance of creating a safe environment for every learner.

This initiative was led by the Prefect of Discipline, in partnership with the Guidance Office, with the full support of our School Principal, Ellen L. Ocharon.

The seminar serves as part of the school’s continuing commitment to prevent and address bullying within the school community, strengthen awareness among students, and promote a culture where everyone is treated with respect, dignity, kindness, and understanding.

Bullying prevention is not the responsibility of one person alone. It begins with the small acts we choose to make every day—a kind word, a helping hand, speaking up when something is wrong, respecting differences, and choosing to include rather than exclude.

Because every student deserves to feel safe, valued, heard, and accepted.

Together, let us continue building a school community where discipline goes hand in hand with compassion, where differences are respected, and where every learner can grow in a safe, friendly, and inclusive institution.
