Mapúa Debate Parliament commends its members, Kyla Angela Alcazar and Ameira Zatra Hussain, for braving as the lone team to represent MDP for the 48th Mindanao Parliamentary Debate Championship hosted by the Ateneo Debate Varsity on July 19-21, 2024. The club is proud of your run!

Mapúa Debate Parliament, in partnership with Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao's Center for Service-Learning and Community Engagement, participated in the Brigada Eskwela 2024 at Matina Pangi Elementary School on July 24 in fostering community service and commitment with paints, painting materials, and cleaning materials donations.

MDP extends thanks to the Matina Pangi ES for welcoming the club and the MMCM administration for the support of the club's activities.

Mapúa Debate Parliament proudly presents Sparta ACR as the Debate Champions of the Season – Siklaban 2024: IGNITES. The room bled RED with Sparta teams dominating the grands. 🩸🩸

👑 Sparta ACR won via unanimous vote, with them in Government and Sparta AGL in the Opposition.

🎤 Additionally, Raneir Micah Cutad, the Prime Minister, swept the Final's Best Speaker award in another unanimous vote.

⚔️ A tale of two Spartas in the Grands, indeed, one carrying their shield and the other on it.

Yapper Awardees‼️ Presenting our Siklaban Debate Best Speakers! After three intense and perspiring rounds, Cluster Rhodes from CEA dominated the speaker tab. 🥵💚

Kyla Angela Alcazar from Rhodes KEG won the Overall Best Speaker award, followed by Vynne Sagabay from Rhodes AMV. El Romaerr Binghoy and Ghymes Deocampo from Rhodes KEG tied for 3rd Best Speaker, while Margarita Dagohoy from Rhodes AMV secured the 5th Best Speaker.

After three rounds of intense debating, Mapúa Debate Parliament presents four teams emerging from the fires, and they are set to ignite the break rounds on June 8.

Rhodes AMV topped the eliminations undefeated, following two Sparta teams, Sparta AGL & Sparta AGR, to claim the 2nd and 3rd spots to finals with two wins. Rhodes KEG closed the breaks at the 4th spot.
