The Junior High School learners (Saturday group) of ALS Matina District utilized the tablets to enhance digital literacy, supports individualized learning, and bridge educational gaps in technology-driven environment.
This will help the learners to be familiar with technology use in education and make learning more engaging and enjoyable. Also, this tablet will allow them to revisit and study their lessons at their own pace.
Thank you Deped Central office for supporting our ALS Learners!

ALS Matina District had the chance to take part in a three-day Division Multiplier Training for ALS Teachers on how to implement Work-Based Learning (WBL) and Be Your Own Boss (BYOB). With the goal of giving teachers useful skills and techniques to incorporate entrepreneurship and real-world work experiences into the ALS curriculum, this session was enlightening and encouraging.
Moreover, the three ALS mobile teachers of Matina District had successfully conducted a demonstration teaching session as part of the Work-Based Learning (WBL) and “Be Your Own Boss” training program for ALS educators. The purpose of the session was to demonstrate how ALS curriculum can effectively incorporate entrepreneurial ideas and practical work skills to better prepare students for employment and self-sufficiency.
Overall, the training was a good experience that strengthened our dedication to enabling out-of-school youths and adults while also improving our teaching techniques. By incorporating “Work Based Learning” and “Be Your Own Boss”, we can assist our learners in developing useful skills, gaining independence, and making significant contributions to their communities.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to everyone involved in the successful monitoring of the BPOSA program in DRANHS especially to our Bureau of Alternative Education personnel headed by Ma'am Anna Lourdes A. Falcon and to the rest of monitoring team, Doc. Maricel S. Langahid our dynamic Regional ALS Focal Person, ever supportive school principal Doc Romeo Camilotes & our active EPSA Sir Braian Mahinay .Your efforts in addressing challenges and ensuring smooth implementation have not gone unnoticed. Thank you for your unwavering support and contribution to this program.
We truly believe that this program will continue to provide alternative learning opportunities for our adult learners who have been unable to complete their formal education. Through this monitoring, we will be able to assess the progress, know the challenges, and observe the best practices in the implementation of BPOSA. Continued monitoring and evaluation will be essential for us in ensuring the success of the said program.
