Today, June 19, 2026, we commemorate the 165th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, our National Hero and the inspiration behind the name and mission of our institution.

In this regard, the Office of Student Services and Affairs (OSSA) respectfully invites all Administrators, Deans, Heads, Faculty, Staff, and Students to join the commemorative program this afternoon at 2:00 PM at the Dr. Jose P. Rizal Statue near the IBED Flagpole.

As members of the Rizal Memorial Colleges, Inc. community, let us honor the life, sacrifices, ideals, and patriotism of Dr. Rizal, whose legacy continues to inspire us in our pursuit of Service, Excellence, Respect, Trust, Loyalty and Faith, and Nationalism.

Your presence will make this celebration more meaningful as we unite in paying tribute to the hero whose name our institution proudly bears.

"When the Waters Rose, Hope Held Firm."

Our organization, The Anchor of Humanity Francesca Hope Foundation, is humbled to share that, through the unwavering vision and leadership of our Chairman and Lotus Council President, Anna Neri Magallanes Fu, we have successfully delivered sacks of rice to Rizal Memorial Colleges for their flood relief operations in Davao City.

This mission was made possible by the dedication of the entire AHFHF family—especially the tireless work of the Cosmos Council, led by President Maurine Rubia, and the generous support of our supplier, Ms. Edelyn Melano.

To each of you: thank you for turning compassion into action when it mattered most.

What we did, and why it matters
We didn’t just drop off supplies and leave. We ensured that every affected family would receive one full sack of rice—enough to ease the immediate burden, restore dignity, and remind them they haven’t been forgotten.

In the middle of loss, a single sack of rice is more than food. It’s a message: You are seen. You are not alone. Help is here.

We stand together, anchored in hope.
Floods take homes, roads, and routines. They do not take our humanity. When disaster strikes, the truth of who we are comes to the surface. And here in Davao, that truth is this: we rise together.

Neighbors helping neighbors. Councils mobilizing. Suppliers give beyond the invoice. Students and staff at Rizal Memorial Colleges turning their campus into a lifeline.

This is what it means to be anchored—not in circumstance, but in faith, in community, and in the belief that no storm is stronger than our resolve to care for one another.

A word to every family still waiting for the water to recede.
Hang on. Breathe. You are not alone in this. The help on its way is real, and it carries the prayers of people who may never meet you but refuse to let you face this alone.

Good afternoon, Rizalians!

In response to the recent flooding that affected many communities, we are humbly calling on all RMC students to participate in our Relief Operation Activity for the flood victims.

WE ARE ACCEPTING DONATIONS SUCH AS:

- HYGIENE KITS
- OTHER ESSENTIAL NEEDS

Any amount or kind of help will be greatly appreciated and will surely bring hope and support to our fellow affected families.
