In a world where we're constantly connected, taking a break from our screens can be one of the best ways to care for ourselves.

Set your phone down for a while. Enjoy a meal without scrolling, spend time with your loved ones, step outside, or simply be present in the moment. Your mind deserves moments of rest just as much as your body does.

Sometimes, the best way to reconnect with yourself is to disconnect for a little while. 🌿

Need someone to talk to as you navigate life's challenges? The AdDU JHS Wellness and Testing Center is always ready to listen and support you.

Taking care of yourself doesn't always require grand gestures. Sometimes, it's as simple as drinking enough water, getting enough sleep, taking a deep breath, or reaching out to someone you trust.

Remember that every small act of self-care is an investment in your well-being. Be gentle with yourself and celebrate the little things you do each day to stay healthy and balanced.

Take a moment today to check in with yourself. Which self-care habit can you accomplish today? 💚

If you feel like you need someone to listen, support is always available. The Wellness and Testing Center is here to accompany you on your journey toward holistic well-being.

"Every hallway needs a hero. Every classroom needs a shield."

Bullying doesn't always announce itself — but courage can. This school year, the WTC officially relaunches iRESPECT, our community-wide movement against bullying, built on one simple truth: standing up for someone isn't extra, it's what respect looks like in action.

Join us for the iRESPECT Launching Program on July 15, 2026 (Wednesday), from 7:45–9:30 AM at the AdDU–JHS Quadrangle, as we kick off the theme "Be the Shield: Courage Looks Good on You." Expect meaningful talks, real conversations about bullying, and a renewed community pledge to look out for one another — because being kind is brave, and being brave is cool.

Whether you're a student, a parent, or part of our AdDU–JHS family, this is your reminder: you don't need a cape to be someone's shield. You just need to show up.

Save the date, bring your courage, and let's build a kinder, safer JHS — together.
