October 17, 2025 - Bolton Elementary School is down to its third day of Blended Learning after the doublet earthquake and aftershocks felt in the entire region of Davao. Learning continues because teachers never fail to do their responsibility in teaching the students.
Teachers at Bolton Elementary School continues to deliver quality education through synchronous and asynchronous classes. To reduce the number of separate online classes, the grade six level conducted the classes by joining all the three sections together which helped them manage the classes. During the online classes teachers ensure that student will actively engage, in which they use platforms like Quizziz and other online sites to catch studentβs attention and participation. Students have good feedback about games and activity conducted during the online class.
Moreover, some of the teachers at BES specifically in kindergarten , SNED and Grade 1 distributed learning materials and activity sheets to ensure learning continuity.
This blended learning has brought students and teachers to the world of technology and online activity. It grows their knowledge and interest in engaging themselves to the current society. However, it delays and hinders students who donβt have gadgets, no internet connection, and those who donβt know who to access the platform.
