Our hearts were full last September 8, 2026. Aside from celebrating Mother Mary's birthday, SMILE learners had a meaningful cultural exchange with students of Japanese schools in Toyonaka City,

It was more than just an exchange of traditions, food, and culture - it was a beautiful encounter of hearts. We didn't just share what we have; we shared who we are.

We are so proud of our SMILE learners! With so much joy and confidence, they shared the beauty of being Filipino. We also shared our school activities, fun playtime games, and sports that SMILE learners love to do every day.

Seeing them proudly showcase our culture and our school to our Japanese friends reminded us that our Filipino spirit is truly something to be proud of.

We are different from the Japanese students, yes, but that is what makes this friendship more beautiful. We celebrate our differences because they are what unite us as one family in this world.

Thank you to our new Japanese friends for this wonderful experience! Share your love and always SMILE! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ Thank you, Lord Jesus, for this opportunity.

Last August 28, 2026, the SMILE Family brought culture to life with the SMILExpress Yourself Collaborative Performance Task: "Indak at Tula 2026."

SMILE learners from Pre-K to Grade 10 wowed the audience in a 3-part program featuring impressive traditional Philippine dances and powerful, original tulang talumpati from our high school students. It was an unforgettable day showcasing our rich heritage, artistry, and grace.

As we celebrate the birthday of our beloved Patroness, Mama Mary, today, September 8, 2026, we offer this tribute in gratitude for her loving guidance and intercession.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated teachers, talented choreographers, supportive parents, and our Almighty Father for making this event a grand success. Kudos to all our brilliant performers and participants, our eloquent speakers and emcees, and everyone behind the scenes!

May God bless our SMILE Family and the Philippines through the loving intercession of Mama Mary!

Thank you for the pictures, Teacher Marisa Gajo and SMILE Journalism Club.
