𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐭. 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐮𝐫 𝐀. 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐬 (𝐃𝐌𝐌𝐀 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝟏𝟗𝟗𝟔), after years of steadfast service and leadership at sea, entrusted the vessel’s command to 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐭. 𝐏𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐨 𝐒. 𝐂𝐚𝐳𝐚𝐫 𝐉𝐫. (𝐃𝐌𝐌𝐀 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟓). Their handshake marked more than just a ceremonial tradition; it was a symbol of resilience, dedication, and the enduring spirit of DMMA graduates navigating the vast oceans of the world.

For aspiring seafarers, this moment is a testament that success is not defined by how smooth the journey is, but by the strength to navigate through rough seas. Both Capt. Barnes and Capt. Cazar started just like every maritime student—learning, struggling, and striving to prove themselves. Through years of hard work, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to their craft, they now stand as leaders of a global fleet, carrying the name of DMMA with pride.

Second Semester Classes for Academic Year 2022-2023 will start on January 25, 2023.

We will be implementing Full Face-To-Face classes for both lecture and laboratory classes in professional and general education courses.

Minimum Requirements for Students who will be attending the limited face-to-face classes.

✅ Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
✅ Enrolled in a Program and had signified/registered to attend the LFTF classes during the COVID-19 Pandemic;
✅ Allowed by their parents/guardians to attend LFTF during the COVID-19 Pandemic; and
✅ Registered with PhilHealth (as member or dependent) or with equivalent medical insurance that covers medical expenses related to COVID-19
