Adele

Adele, byname of Adele Laurie Blue Adkins born on May 05, 1988, Tottenham, London, England. An English pop singer-songwriter Adele was one of the most broadly popular performers of her generation, known for her soulful, emotive voice and traditionally crafted songs. Her best-selling albums included "19" (2008) "21" (2011) and "25" (2015). Adele found success at young age after her demo caught the attention of British Independence record label XL Recordings and she released her debut album "19" - named for her age when she recorded it in 2008. She won the prestigious Brit Critics Awards.

We See how a treasure-like singer influence the musuc industry and female growth with her story. We appreciate Adele's positive attitude towards life, her passion and creativity for music, and the real women's emotion revealed in the lyrics of her songs, at only 27 , Adele has achieve a rare but well-deserved legendary status among young female pop stars. It seems guaranteed tgat Adele will be like, her idols Etta James and Ella Fitzgerald, one of those musicians who people look back on 50 yrars from now.

Lastly, I've learn from Adele for being Honest and Owning up to our mistakes is another lesson I learn form the British singer. In her new release, "Easy On Me", we see Adele reflecting on the times she went wrong while simultaneously asking for forgiveness and understanding.

Yellow Cab Pizza Co. is a pizza restaurant chain based in the Philippines. Founded in April 2001 by Eric Puno, Henry Lee and Albert Tan, Yellow Cab Pizza is owned by Max's Group, who is also the owner of the restaurant fried chicken chain Max's Restaurant. The chain currently operates 159 branches in the Philippines and numbers in overseas, including branches in Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, China, Vietnam and Oman.

The first branch of Yellow Cab Pizza Co. opened along Makati Avenue in Makati in April 2001. Because of having "yellow cab" in its name, many people thought of the chain as a taxi business, but the name is actually a reference to the way it frequently uses the colors black and yellow, a pattern seen on New York City taxicabs.The company's delivery service uses Vespa Scooters.

WHAT IS YOUR GLOBAL GOVERNANCE PROBLEM

GLOBAL GOVERNANCE AND THE POLITICS OF CRISIS

The notion of global governance has always been intimately linked to that of crisis. In recent crisis episodes the architecture of global governance has been held responsible for weak or ineffective regulatory mechanisms that failed to either prevent systemic crises or to at least give an “early warning” of impending disasters, while in other episodes global governance institutions have been blamed for poor crisis responses and management.

Global governance institutions have also been blamed for failing to expand the scope of their jurisdictions to incorporate new systemic risks and new market players, as well as for their inability to adapt to new political, economic, social and environmental challenges. The framing article for this special issue on “Global Governance in Crisis” examines four key features of global governance in the context of the global financial crisis: (1) the dynamic role played by ideas in making global governance “hang together” during periods of crisis; (2) how crisis serves as a driver of change in global governance (and why it sometimes does not); (3) how ubiquitous the global financial crisis was as an event in world politics; and (4) the conditions that constitute an event as a crisis. Due to the complexity and institutional “stickiness” of the contemporary architecture of global governance, the article concludes that a far-reaching overhaul and structural reforms in global governance processes is both costly and improbable in the short-term.

Globalization cause of world’s misery

While the Aquino administration is assiduous in its efforts to make the hosting of the 2015 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) Summit a success, several hundreds of displaced lumad from Mindanao, along with progressive groups who express their solidarity with indigenous peoples, are marching on the streets of Metro Manila to show that they are against the imperialist plunder of their ancestral domains and the nonstop militarization of their communities.

Under the theme of “Building Inclusive Economies, Building a Better World,” this year’s Apec summit is expected to reaffirm the old formulas of globalization—privatization, trade and investment liberalization. Launched by the United States in 1989, the Apec was designed to strengthen the superpower’s hegemony in the region. It intends to limit, if not remove, the protectionist measures of smaller economies via tariff reduction, deregulation and other neoliberal economic policies that guarantee super-profits for transnational corporations. As we all know, China is now the United States’ biggest trading partner—partners in crime as the two powerful nations struggle for global dominance.

Since our first Apec hosting in 1996, the policy of globalization has severely eroded the Philippine economy, weakening the agricultural sector while worsening poverty and inequality in the country. From labor contractualization to environmental degradation, the Aquino administration has opted to ignore the harrowing effects of its neoliberal policies on the Filipino people in order to serve the interests of foreign businesses. Subservient to the core, that’s the kind of leadership P-Noy has shown for more than five years in office.
