I’d like to share my thoughts as a tutor.

There’s a saying that goes, "We cannot give what we do not have." As tutors, I hope we never underestimate the lessons we teach. We should continue learning because education is constantly evolving. Our students and their parents trust us, so we should strive to be well-prepared rather than relying on trial and error.

It’s good to reflect on these questions:

• What is our goal for our student?
• What are our student's strengths?
• What are our student's weaknesses?

Our goal should not only be to help students answer correctly during tutoring sessions but to ensure they truly understand the concepts and can apply them independently. Some students perform well when the tutor is beside them, but when they work on their own, they struggle because the concepts haven't been fully understood.

Isn't it fulfilling to see our students improve because of the guidance and support we provide?

Being a tutor is not an easy responsibility. That's why learning is a lifelong process. It's not only our students who should keep learning—we, as tutors, should also continue to learn, unlearn, and relearn.

Let's continue growing so we can better help our students grow too. 😊
