The Association of Mathematics and Science Major Students (AMSS) Club proudly recognizes the participation of its student leaders in AMARE: The Ignacian Marian Leadership Summit 2026, a three-day leadership formation held from August 29โ€“31, 2026 at the Mother of Perpetual Help Shrine & Retreat Center in Kidapawan City, North Cotabato.

Anchored on the theme, โ€œFlaming the Torch of Ignacian Marian Servant Leadership through Faith, Compassion, and Action,โ€ the summit provided a meaningful space for student leaders to reflect, learn, and strengthen their commitment to purpose-driven leadership and service.

Representing AMSS Club were AMSS Club Mayor Vannah Josel Barrete and CTE Council Governor and 4th Year AMSS Club Representative Patrick Antop, who actively took part in this transformative leadership experience alongside fellow student leaders from across the University.

May the lessons and experiences from AMARE continue to inspire them to lead with faith, compassion, and courage, bringing with them the values of service and excellence as they continue to serve the AMSS family and the wider UIC community.

May we continue to learn, lead, and serveโ€”not only for ourselves, but for the people we are entrusted to serve. ๐Ÿ’™โœจ
