September is National Science Month! 🔬💡

🌍 Did you know?

Earth is the only planet in our solar system known to support life. With the right conditions, like liquid water, a suitable atmosphere, and temperatures that allow life to thrive, our planet is truly one of a kind.

This Science Month, stay curious, ask questions, and keep discovering the science behind the world around us!

🚨 KNOW WHAT TO DO. KNOW HOW TO RESPOND.

The MATS Elementary & High School community took part in an orientation on the proper response to active attack incidents, gaining important guidance on appropriate actions and safety protocols during emergency situations.

Understanding the proper response can help reduce confusion and keep everyone focused on safety when an incident occurs. It’s another important step in strengthening safety awareness within our school community.

A big thank you to the SWAT and PNP Team for sharing your knowledge, guidance, and expertise with our MATS Elementary & High School community.

💙 LIFE-SAVING SKILLS THAT MATTER.

MATS Elementary and High School students took part in a free CPR and life-saving skills training facilitated by volunteers from the Philippine Red Cross.

From learning what to do in an emergency to getting hands-on with basic life-saving techniques, our students got to experience skills that can make a real difference and response during crucial times.

Big thanks to the Philippine Red Cross volunteers for sharing your time, knowledge, and experience with our MATS Elem and HS students. ❤️

A glimpse of what leveling up at MATS looks like. 👀

Empowering students. Advancing skills. Moving forward.

That’s the goal: to keep finding ways to make the MATS experience better, more relevant, and closer to what students will actually face beyond the classroom.

From the way we teach to the opportunities we create, we’re intentional about giving our students more room to try, build, improve, and grow into what they want to become. 🚀

Stay safe, MATS!

With the haze affecting Davao City, we encourage everyone to take extra precautions, especially when heading outdoors. Wear a well-fitting face mask and limit prolonged outdoor activities.

School can get overwhelming sometimes and that’s okay.

To every student feeling pressured, tired, or simply needing a pause: take a breath. You don’t have to figure everything out on your own.

Your MATS teachers are here to listen, guide, and support you. Sometimes, asking for help is the strongest thing you can do.

Pause. Breathe. Reach out. You’ve got people rooting for you.

Today, we remember the Filipino heroes whose courage and convictions helped shape the nation we know today.

As an educational community, we honor not only their sacrifices but also the values they stood for, freedom, equality, and the belief that education can empower generations.

May their legacy continue to live on in every student who learns, speaks up, dreams, and chooses to make a difference.

Happy National Heroes Day! 🇵🇭

Patuloy nating pahalagahan, gamitin, at ipagmalaki ang ating wika at kulturang Pilipino.

The whole MATS community strives to bring out the best in every student. 💙💛

We believe every child deserves a place where they can learn, grow, discover their strengths, and build confidence along the way. At MATS, we aim to create a home where students feel supported, inspired, and ready to take on what’s next.

Because a strong future starts with a strong foundation. ✨
