From engaging scouting challenges to energetic exercises and a joyful boodle fight feast, our young learners strengthened their confidence, embraced healthy habits, and created lasting memories alongside their classmates and teachers.

By equipping learners with essential life skills and promoting healthy living, Day 1 of our Scouting and Nutrition Month Celebration provided meaningful experiences that nurtured character, resilience, and camaraderie.
Through interactive scouting module stations, students learned basic survival skills and the core values of Scouting, while the exercise activities and boodle fight feast encouraged teamwork, wellness, and stronger friendships among our learners.

Earlier today, Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc. successfully conducted an institution-wide fire drill involving students, faculty, and staff on campus to strengthen emergency preparedness and ensure everyone is familiar with proper evacuation procedures in the event of a fire.
The activity emphasized the importance of disaster readiness by reinforcing safety protocols, promoting calm and organized responses during emergencies, and cultivating a culture of preparedness within the school community.
Through regular emergency drills, learners develop practical life-saving skills, confidence, and a heightened sense of responsibility, helping create a safer and more resilient educational environment.

Nearly 1,000 school paper advisers and campus journalism coaches gathered at Davao Central College on July 25β26, 2026, for the Campus Journalism Academy Year 10, a vital preparation for the upcoming Division Schools Press Conference on September 9β15, 2026.
The two-day seminar served as the first step in equipping SPAs and coaches with enhanced skills, strategies, and knowledge that they will cascade to their campus journalists as they continue to champion responsible journalism.
Moreover, adding pride to the event, school paper advisers from Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc. earned multiple recognitions during the writing sessions, showcasing their excellence and commitment to the craft of campus journalism.
