IMPORTANT UPDATE, DepEd Dasma Kaagapay! 👋

Upon consultation with the Central Office focal for ECP, and with the approval of ASDS and HRMPSB Chair Sir Galileo L. Go, RECLASSIFICATION documents of Special Needs Education Teachers (SNETs) and Special Science Teachers (SSTs) shall be accepted until December 9, 2025.

RETITLING is not anymore required before reclassification, however, this may still be applicable if the SNET/SST is not qualified to a higher position. The OLD QS will be used for the retitling and reclassification.

A Division Memo containing this update will be released next week. Stay tuned, our dear SNETs and SSTs.

One of the provisions of Division Memorandum No. 765, s. 2025 or the "Dissemination of DepEd Order No. 034, s. 2025 re: Amendments and Clarifications to DepEd Order No. 024, s. 2025 (Guidelines on the Implementation of the Expanded Career Progression System for Teachers and School Heads in the Department of Education)" is on the Conduct of Classroom Observation for ECP/Promotion purposes side-by-side with PMES.

Hence, all School Heads, Assistant School Heads, and Master Teachers will be trained on how to do COI Assessment for ECP on November 3, 2025 at Emmanuel Resurreccion Congressional Integrated High School (ERCIHS).

Already released today is Division Memorandum No. 765, s. 2025 or the "Dissemination of DepEd Order No. 034, s. 2025 re: Amendments and Clarifications to DepEd Order No. 024, s. 2025 (Guidelines on the Implementation of the Expanded Career Progression System for Teachers and School Heads in the Department of Education)".

One important update is the extended deadline of submission of documentary requirements for all levels (Elementary, JHS, SHS), as follows:

November 4, 2025 : Teacher I incumbents applying for higher teaching positions
November 17, 2025 : Teacher II incumbents applying for higher teaching positions
December 1, 2025 : Teacher III incumbents applying for higher teaching positions
December 9, 2025 : Master Teacher I and Master Teacher II incumbents applying for higher teaching positions
