KLD is currently conducting a Market Survey for the proposed Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) as a new component of the National Service Training Program (NSTP).

The proposed ROTC provides students with opportunities to develop leadership, discipline, teamwork, physical fitness, and disaster preparedness skills, while strengthening their sense of patriotism and commitment to serve.

The result of this survey will help the institution assess student demand and effectively plan the possible implementation of ROTC in the future.

In line with the mission of Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas to foster socially responsible and community-oriented leaders, the students of NSTP-CWTS 2 recently concluded a comprehensive Community Needs Assessment (CNA) across thirteen (13) key barangays in Dasmariñas City. This initiative serves as the foundational phase of their community immersion, ensuring that future civic projects are data-driven, relevant, and responsive to the actual needs of the residents.

The success of this undertaking would not have been possible without the unwavering support and hospitality of the local government units. The Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas and its NSTP-CWTS 2 students extend their heartfelt gratitude to the following Barangays and their respective Barangay Captains for opening their doors and sharing their vision for a better Dasmariñas:

The NSTP Section had a meeting with officials from the 4th Regional Community Defense Group of the Philippine Army to discuss the activation of the ROTC unit at KLD. The meeting was attended by Reginald Gregienor E. Laceda, ROTC Activation Chair, Lorielyn S. Cong-ay, NSTP Section Coordinator, and Jaycee N. Toledo, Dean of the Institute of Foundational Studies, with the command officers Cpl Christianne C. Delos Santos (Inf) PA, ROTC Division NCO, and SSg Francis N. Signo (Inf) PA, Operations NCO, who aimed to finalize preparations for the upcoming ROTC activation ceremony, fostering collaboration between KLD and the Philippine Army to develop future leaders and promote civic engagement among students. The partnership seeks to enhance students' leadership skills, discipline, and community service, aligning with NSTP's goals.
