🌳 Tree of Inclusive Hearts – Day 1 🌈
📅 February 16, 2026
✨ Stamp your thumb, show your heart! ✨
On the first day of the Tree of Inclusive Hearts, students from different grade levels, together with our dedicated teachers and staff, proudly placed their thumbmarks as a powerful symbol of unity and support for inclusivity.
Each red and blue thumbmark represents a heart committed to respect, acceptance, and equal opportunities for all. ❤️💙 What may seem like simple prints became meaningful promises — promises to build a school community where everyone feels valued, supported, and included.
February 16, 2026 marked not just the start of an activity, but the beginning of a stronger commitment to inclusivity within our school.
Together, we grow. Together, we include. 🌟

Magandang araw po sa ating lahat!
Today, we proudly join the nation in officially kicking off the celebration of National Intellectual Disability Week 2026 at Emmanuel Resurreccion Congressional Integrated High School, in accordance with Proclamation No. 1385(s. 1975) and Deped Memorandum No. 022, s. 2021, which declares the third week of February of every year as National Intellectual Disability Week in the Philippines.
This year’s celebration will be held from 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟏𝟒 𝐭𝐨 𝟐𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, with the theme:✨ “𝐆𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐢 𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐠-𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐓𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐨 𝐬𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐲 𝐧𝐚 𝐈𝐧𝐤𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐧.” ✨
The theme reminds us that love, understanding, and acceptance are the golden harvest we reap when we nurture an inclusive community. Through compassion and collective effort, we move toward meaningful inclusion where every learner — regardless of ability — is valued, supported, and empowered.
As a school community, we reaffirm our commitment to inclusive education by promoting awareness, respect, and equal opportunities for learners with intellectual disabilities. Throughout this week, various activities will be conducted to strengthen our advocacy and celebrate the abilities, talents, and strengths of our learners.

The internet should be a space for learning and discovery, not a place of fear.
This 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲, we remind parents and guardians to be our children’s first line of defense in the digital landscape. 💻✨
Let’s teach them digital citizenship and ensure that the "online world" is just as safe as their "offline world."
Together, we can click toward a better, safer internet! 💙

This February, NCDA proudly invites everyone to join the nation in celebrating National Down Syndrome Consciousness Month.
Through Presidential Proclamation No. 157, issued on February 18, 2002, February was officially declared National Down Syndrome Consciousness Month—a time to raise awareness, promote inclusion, and honor the unique abilities, voices, and contributions of persons with Down Syndrome.
This month reminds us that understanding leads to acceptance, and acceptance builds a more inclusive society for all.
