The Political Science Program Council (PSPC) formally confirms and approves the appointment of the members of the DLSUD Political Science Election Committee A.Y. 2025-2026 for the Academic Year 2026–2027 through Executive-Legislative Board Order No. 2, s. 2026.

As an independent election body, the PSEC is tasked to ensure a fair, transparent, and credible electoral process in accordance with the Election Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR), upholding accountability, professionalism, and democratic student representation.

The Political Science Program Council (PSPC) formally releases the revised Election Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) for the student electoral process.

This revision comes in response to concerns raised regarding the inclusion of the 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 (𝐇𝐎𝐑) 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 in the election. Accordingly, the Executive and Legislative Board has updated the IRR to clarify that 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 (𝐂𝐄𝐎) and the 𝐇𝐎𝐑 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 will be elected in the upcoming election.
