The Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas (KLD), through the Gender and Development Unit and the Institute of Foundational Studies, in partnership with the City of Dasmariñas GAD Focal Point System and the City Social Welfare and Development Office - CSWDO - Dasmariñas (CSWDO), proudly celebrates Art, Resilience, and Leadership!
As part of the 2026 National Women's Month Celebration, we embrace the theme “𝐖𝐄 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲,” and its empowering subtheme: “𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬, 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐬!”
Our first year students from the Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Bachelor of Science in Social Work, and Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences programs, who are currently taking GEC005 Readings in Philippine History and GEC 001 Art Appreciation courses, showcased their creativity and advocacy through art exhibits, booths, digital brochures, and video presentations of contemporary and historical Filipinas from March 16–24, 2026.

𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬, 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐬!
In celebration of the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡, Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas (KLD) successfully conducted the Employees’ Gender Sensitivity Training (GST) last March 25-26 at the Manny B. Villar Jr. Hall.
This two-day initiative underscored KLD’s active participation in this year’s theme: “𝐖𝐄 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲,” and its subtheme “𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬, 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐬!” 𝐏𝐂𝐌𝐒 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐚, the Chief of the City of Dasmariñas Women and Children Protection Desk, provided vital insights on RA 11313 (Safe Spaces Act) and RA 7877 (Anti-Sexual Harassment Act). Furthermore, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐂𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐑𝐚𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐂. 𝐀𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧, Chairperson of the KLD-CODI, presented the committee’s Procedures and Guidelines. Her discussion emphasized the institution's commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all members of the KLD community.
This program was organized by the KLD Gender and Development (GAD) Unit, in partnership with the City of Dasmariñas GAD Focal Point System and the City Social Welfare and Development Office - CSWDO - Dasmariñas.
Together, we will continue to build a safer and more inclusive Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas.

Pursuant to PCW Memorandum Circular No. 2026-02 and City Government of Dasmariñas Office Memorandum Order No. 0282-s-2026, the Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas employees are required to wear any shade of purple shirts/garments on 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟔 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟐𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. KLD students, on the other hand, are highly encouraged to wear the same on the said date.
