🇵🇭Before Philippine folk dances reached classrooms, stages, and cultural troupes across the country, one woman listened closely to the rhythms of communities and preserved them for generations to come. The celebration of 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐨'𝐬 birth occurs today because she is recognized as the 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐥𝐤 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞.

💃𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗼 𝗔𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲–𝗖𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝗲 honors her legacy through our dance performances. The cultural heartbeat she dedicated her life to preserving continues through our dance performances which we do with every step and rhythm and story we present on stage.

• 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀: Auditionees with existing health conditions (e.g., asthma, heart problems, injuries) are required to disclose relevant information as part of the audition process. Given the physically demanding nature of the practices and training sessions, we prioritize the safety and well-being of every participant. Prospective dancers are advised to carefully evaluate their readiness before joining.

•𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲: Prepare a dance performance of up to 1 minute and 30 seconds in one of the following genres: Dance Sport, Festival Dance, Classical Dance, Cultural/Folk Dance, Street/Urban/Hip-hop (including Dancehall), Contemporary/Modern Dance, Creative Dance

Note: Strictly no 15-second TikTok dances.
