Happy Pi Day Congressionalians!!!
March 14 marks Pi Day, an annual celebration of the mathematical sign pi. Founded in 1988 by physicist Larry Shaw, March 14 was selected because the numerical date (3.14) represents the first three digits of pi, and it also happens to be Albert Einstein’s birthday.

📢UPDATE: Here are the final mechanics for the events happening tomorrow on Friday, the 2nd day of Math Month.
• Sudoku Solving Contest: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
📌10:00 AM - Start of registration at the AVR
📌10:30 AM - Start of contest proper
📌Each participant will bring their OWN PENCIL/BALLPEN AND ERASER for the contest.
• Rubik's Cube Solving Contest: 12:40 PM - 2:00 PM
📌12:40 PM - Start of registration at the AVR
📌1:00 PM - Start of contest proper
📌REMINDERS: Bring your own Rubik's cube ON THE DAY OF THE COMPETITION.
📌It will be promptly scrambled before each round starts.
📌When given to the facilitators, it has to be inside a PLASTIC BAG with your FULL NAME.

Dahil sa taus-pusong suporta ng mga Math Teachers, event organizers, Sipnayan Club officers and members, at siyempre lahat kayong Congressionalians, maganda at maayos natin nasimulan ang unang araw ng ating Math Month🤩🥳
Dahil dyan, narito ang isang highlight video ng ating 1st Day sa ating masigabong Math Month!! Maraming salamat po Ma'am Snowbel Pelenia sa video presentation.
Stay tuned this Friday para matunghayan naman ang mga Speedcubers ng CIHS, kung saan mamamangha ang lahat sa kagalingan nila mag-solve ng Rubik's Cube ng ilan lamang segundo.
Hindi lang yan, kasama rin sa Friday ang mga Sudoku solvers na gagawin ang lahat ng kanilang makakaya upang kumpletuhin ang 1-9 sa bawat hanay (column), hilera (row), at kahon (boxes) ng Sudoku board.
Excited na ba kayo? Kung ganon, ihanda na ang mga sarili at kung kaya ay pumunta sa AVR mamayang 11 AM para masaksihan ang opening ng Math Month!!
