Every woman deserves to be valued, regardless of her qualities, power, or social level. - Janice Dominguez, a Teacher II from Esp Department.
Women do not need to be famous to be appreciated. Most of the time, those they consider useless are the ones that provide significant assistance not only to themselves but also to their neighbors and the society in which they live. God created both men and women with unique strengths and capacities. The reason why women have power that no one can match. This is due to the fact that certain tasks can only be completed by women. However, despite our many and significant differences, the reality that everyone has equal rights to be recognized should not be overlooked. Being a teacher, colleague, and mother is a gift from God, as well as an opportunity to perform tasks and responsibilities as a woman in order to demonstrate to the world what women can do and how much we cherish being a woman.

"Inspire others to understand and value women's inclusion." - Ma'am Marie Jane T. Marquina, an MT I from MAPEH Department.
Being 27 years in the service, she as a teacher sees the relevance of a woman to being a teacher is not only made to help children read and write but to love, support and inspire these students to prepare them for more significant challenges ahead.
Moreover, she emphasizes that as a colleague we must be kind. You are not only judged by how tall you stand. You are also judged by how many times you have bent over to help. Take a breath. There are a variety of ways to counter pushback. If you want to be treated with respect, then be respectful and take a breath before responding.
A “deep calling" is how she defines being a mother. It’s not just about being a parent, it’s about having compassion, being extraordinarily present and having unconditional love to the family.

Today, our spotlight is focused to the great women from the English Department who believe that the essence of a woman in relation to being a teacher is that they bring that femininity and the gentleness of a woman in the classroom.
Ma'am Arlene Alberto holds that the essence of a woman as a colleague encompasses qualities such as professionalism, competency, empathy, collaboration, and dedication, just like any other colleague. Gender should not define one's abilities or contributions in the workplace.
Mommy Ayeen, as she is fondly called by those close to her heart, defines that, motherhood, is the nurturing spirit of being a woman brought inside the classroom as you teach and nourish the minds of our learners. Being a parent also plays a great role in shaping the learners because being a mother means taking care of the physical body of our children, who are of course, our learners, but we also enhance their emotional maturity, their intellectual ability, and their being a human, who will be able to share that kindness that you showed being the teacher, you are able to create that kind spirit and the compassionate environment inside the classroom because you are a woman and you are a parent and you are a mother inside the classroom and the learners will be able to catch that and be able to pass it on to the people that they will be interacting with.

“The most important thing one woman can do for another is to illuminate and expand her sense of actual possibilities if parents are responsive and understanding. - Ma. Priscilla Euripedes P. Bawalan, a Master Teacher II from TLE Department
Ma'am Daisy as she is fondly called by everyone in DIHS, believes that the essence of a woman is relevant to being a mother who cook, clean, nurture, and discipline; a wife who support, guide, and love relentlessly; and a colleague where within the workspaces, lead, create, and develop with courage and bravery repeatedly.
"And we do this all with style, class, and of course a little bit of sass."
She believes that the image and standards of a good teacher have been constantly changing within shifting social, cultural, and political contexts, but some essential qualities of excellent teachers remain unchanged and are embedded in the ways they teach the content, interact with students, and care for their well-being. Good teachers not only have practical wisdom and a sense of responsibility, but passion for education itself, and teach and educate in pursuit of possibilities of better lives not only for students, but for their better selves as well.
As someone who is look upon to in the department, the roles that colleagues assume, in and around a formal school setting, can be major factors in the professional lives of teachers. By roles, we refer to those activities by which one teacher, for instance, encourages another, discusses instruction with another, or mentors another.
A parent (if applicable) Parents are the child’s first role model. Children behave, react, and imitate the same as their parents. Parents play an important role in encouraging and motivating their kids to learn. Good parental support helps children to be positive, healthy, and good lifelong learners. Children acquire skills at the very early stage of their life if the parents are responsive.
