The De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute - Center for Intellectual Property (DLSMHSI-CIP) in partnership with De La Salle University Dasmarinas (DLSUD) would like to invite you to participate in the upcoming conference titled, Intellectual Property Conference 2024 (IPCon 2024) with the theme Intellectual Property and Sustainable Development Goals: Building our common future with innovation and creativity that will be held on April 26, 2024, from 8:30 – 5:00 PM at De La Salle Villarosa Convention Hall, Angelo King Medical Research Center.
The activity is in line with the celebration of World Intellectual Property Day that is celebrated every April 26th of the year. This aims to accelerate innovation and creativity to advance SDGs and celebrate the power of innovation and creativity as we explore intellectual property support that drives the productive of intellectual property assets. It also aims to increase the awareness about intellectual property in the academic and research setting and its contribution to innovation and creativity.
Participants are open for all members of De La Salle Philippines including administrators, academic service faculty, academic teaching faculty, non-teaching personnel, students, and researchers.

The Center for Intellectual Property - CIP and DLSMHSI-Romeo P. Ariniego, MD, AFSC Library successfully concluded the copyright webinar titled, How Does Copyright Protect Your Works? last October 21, 2022, via Zoom. This was attended by the Lasallian community from the different services. The webinar provided the participants an understanding of copyrights, types of copyrights, guidelines in protecting copyright, registration of copyright, and understanding of copyright infringement in the workplace and study. Participants also had an opportunity to win a raffle for FREE COPYRIGHT REGISTRATION and DLSMHSI merchandise.

The webinar aims to develop a deep understanding of how copyright protects the creator, author, or inventor's works. It will also provide strategies to prevent copyright infringement in scholarly works, work output, and the academic setting.

DLSMHSI delegates of the Patent Information Search Seminar and Contest successfully concluded the 2-day seminar at Adamson University last September 8-9, 2022.
Delegates were Madelyn Gabrieles, Director of the Center for Intellectual Property, Daisy Huelva Alberto, Associate Director of Center for Academic Health Sciences Research, Ac Aquino, Grants Manager, and Billy Pedron, Chair of Physical Therapy Research Committee.
This is the first face-to-face activity attended by CIP since the pandemic started.
